What is CarDisplay Matte Film protection?

The matte film is a protective layer that reduces sunlight glare and reflections on the screen, enhancing visibility and readability of the displayed information under various lighting conditions.

Reduction of fingerprints and smudges:

Compared to glossy surfaces, the matte surface decreases visibility of grease marks and dirt that fingers might leave.

100% touch sensitivity:

The film is coated with a layer that minimizes fingerprints and oily smudges. Touch contact and sensitivity remain exactly the same as on the device's screen.

Installation instructions:

1. Thoroughly clean the screen.
2. Remove the middle protective layer with the START label.
3. Align the film, apply it perfectly from all sides, and slide your finger across the center of the film.
4. While applying slight pressure on one part of the film, remove the next section of the START layer from underneath.
5. While pressing on the second part of the film, remove the remaining part of the START layer from underneath.
6. Remove the FINISH layer by pulling the label.
7. Move the protective film parallel to the screen.
8. Press out any remaining air with a silicone tool.
9. To remove any dust trapped under the film, use DustStix.
