The Artpol HSS drill bit with a cylindrical shank is designed for drilling metal and other materials. The Type N spiral flute is right-handed, while its surface has an oxide coating that reduces friction and the risk of chips sticking.

It is suitable for machining alloy and carbon steels with a hardness of up to 250 BHN, grey cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and hardened plastics. The ground cutting edges and the option of manual sharpening make it suitable for general-purpose machining. The use of coolant is recommended.
