Having fun with friends, family, or groups through the game of boule is an ideal choice for active leisure time. The game of boule / petanque is a popular social skill game in France. It consists of throwing metal balls from a designated circle. Interest in boule is steadily increasing in Poland as well, mainly in parks and public squares. Petanque can be played on any flat surface that allows for free play (grass, asphalt, floor).

The set includes:

• 8 chromed metal balls - diameter 7.5 cm, 4 different designs
• Ball weight: approximately 0.73 kg
• 1 wooden ball approximately 3 cm in diameter - the "jack"
• Measuring string for measuring distances
• Carrying case for the balls

How to play:

The sports version of boule is called Petanque and is played by two teams:

• 3 players vs 3 players, known as Triplette
• 2 players vs 2 players, known as Dublette
• 1 player vs 1 player, known as Tête-à-tête

The starting team is chosen by drawing lots. A player from the first team chooses the throwing area and draws a circle on the ground with a diameter between 35 cm and 50 cm. The first player, placing both feet inside the circle, throws the jack at a distance of about 6 to 10 meters, keeping at least 1 meter away from obstacles (walls, trees, bushes). Then, the player throws a ball as close as possible to the jack, keeping both feet inside the circle and in contact with the ground until the boule touches the ground.

A player from the opposing team then tries to place their ball closer to the jack than the opponent's or to hit the opponent's ball. The ball closest to the jack is the leading one. The team whose ball is farther from the jack after the first round of throws continues to play until they place a ball closer to the jack or pass their turn.

When the losing team has no balls left or passes their turn, the opposing team tries to place their remaining balls closer to the jack or also passes their turn.

When both teams have no more balls, the points are counted. The winning team scores as many points as the number of balls placed closer to the jack than the opponent's. The player from the winning team throws the jack for the next round. The first team to reach 13 points wins.

Any deviations from these rules are allowed to enhance the fun.
