Monto enamel is a two-component polyurethane paint for renovating bathroom fixtures and ceramic surfaces, such as bathtubs, shower trays, washbasins and tiles. It can also be applied to walls, iron, galvanized iron, furniture, PVC, primed plastic and cement, as well as over two-component paints or suitably prepared surfaces. It has a satin finish and is resistant to moisture, water vapour, household cleaners, abrasion and impact.
Mix the base with the catalyst at a ratio of 4:1. The mixed product has a pot life of 4–6 hours. It is touch-dry in 20–30 minutes at 20 °C, and a second coat can be applied after 24 hours. Apply with a brush, roller or spray gun, thinning with polyurethane thinner. The bathtub can be used at least 72 hours after application.
