    If not the best of Nesbo, then definitely in the top 3. The plot is excellent and keeps you hooked until the very last moment as the story unfolds. The anti-hero here in Nesbo's work evokes sympathy through his flaws, which abruptly ground him in reality during his journey. Perhaps the author performs better when the field is open and he doesn't have to build the plot around the team's aging star (Hole) anymore.
