  • I probably got a defective product as it turns off by itself after a few seconds. According to some research I did, the problem is with the socket's hardware, meaning it's an issue with Sonoff. It connected immediately to HA.

I use it in a setup with Home Assistant and it works flawlessly. The integration was done without any hassle whatsoever and it operates reliably, without disconnects or strange behaviors.

In my Zigbee network via ZHA, it also functions as a router node, which practically means it does mesh relay for other Zigbee devices. If someone is setting up a serious Zigbee mesh, devices of this type significantly help with the expansion and stabilization of the network. As for latency, it is immediate, commands are executed instantly.

The build quality is very good, sturdy body and a proper manual override button. The store was prompt with the shipping, careful packaging, and everything as it should be.

For homelab / HA setup, I consider it value for money.

Very good and economical. It has consumption statistics and a history with kWh and an important setting for which status it should turn on if the power goes out. It has on/off or can remember the last state

The product is of good quality but be careful, the consumption measurement does not work with first generation hubs.
