The Ermenrich Reel PRO GL100 distance meter is used by professionals and amateurs in construction, renovations, and mechanical activities for measuring various environmental parameters, home spaces, and areas: distance, length, area, and volume, as well as vertical angles. The measurements are accurate up to ±1.5 mm, thanks to a laser with a wavelength of 500–535 nm. The laser is green, which is more visible during the day compared to the classic red laser.

The meter offers many flexible functions that enhance usability. Users can easily add or subtract from the current measurement with the press of a button. The voice announcement feature reads aloud the measured values displayed on the screen. The Pythagorean theorem function calculates the distance between two points based on intermediary measurements (a useful feature for working in difficult conditions with limited access to convenient measuring locations). The units of measurement for length, area, and volume can be set: meters (linear/cubic/square), feet (linear/cubic/square), and inches. Angles are measured on a scale from 0° to 180°.

The Ermenrich Reel PRO GL100 is powered by a built-in lithium battery that provides 3 hours of continuous operation. The laser automatically turns off after 30 seconds of inactivity, while the entire device shuts down after 120 seconds.
