The Ermenrich PL40 optical level is suitable for performing geometric measurements such as elevation differences, angles, and distances. It features a pedal-type compressor with a magnetic damper, which offers better vibration reduction compared to similar devices using air dampers. Thus, the Ermenrich PL40 is ideal for job sites near heavy equipment that generates strong vibrations and performs better against vibrations caused by the wind.

The optical elements of the optical level provide 32x magnification, working at distances of up to 120 meters. At this distance, the scale with E gradations is visible, while the scale in millimeters can be seen at a distance of 50 meters. The device is protected against water splashes and dust and is compatible with standard tripods with M5/8" threads.
