Milk Thistle Tincture (Cardus marianus / Silybum marianum) from the Pharmacy of Mount Athos.

  • Detoxifies and protects the liver from toxins and alcohol use.
  • Helps in the regeneration of liver cells.
  • Contributes to the treatment of hepatitis, jaundice, and liver cirrhosis.
  • Supports proper bile function by increasing the secretion and flow of bile from the liver and gallbladder.
  • During menstruation, when bleeding is unusually heavy or prolonged.
  • Soothing for allergies and nasal catarrh.

Usage: 20 drops in a small amount of water, three times daily for a period of 10 days. Repeat the same dosage after a 10-day break. (For adults)

Precautions - Contraindications: It is a mild laxative. Herbal tinctures in alcohol solution are very potent due to the high concentration of medicinal ingredients. Their use should be avoided in children under 12 years of age and during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
