Racing

Traction Plus moves the entire cockpit and offers both understeer and oversteer in the most realistic and accurate way possible. Based on feedback from professional drivers during product development, the understeer element of a motion platform, which is usually found only in 6DOF systems, is absolutely critical for accurate and precise vehicle simulation. 

With the sensation of both understeer and oversteer, the platform can be effectively used for driver/racer training, especially for cornering and rally, feeling what is happening both at the rear and front of the vehicle. Even the differences between rear-wheel drive, front-wheel drive, and all-wheel drive vehicles can be felt with the precise feedback provided through the Traction Plus platform. 

The V3 motion platform and Traction Plus combine to provide accurate vehicle feedback for front wheel lock-up, meaning you will feel the vibrations as well as the front of the vehicle sliding out of the corner when excessive brake pressure is applied. (This also applies to rear wheel lock-up depending on the vehicle’s predisposition)

As with the V3 motion platform, which has been used by professional aviators including airlines, private, military, and flight training institutions and universities, Traction Plus can add further realism by allowing the pilot to experience the aircraft's flight characteristics more realistically.

The Pitch and Roll axis simulation from the V3 motion platform is enhanced with Traction Plus to provide the third Yaw axis to create an incredibly authentic flight sensation.
The simulator also replicates the movements of the landing gear system operation, combat/fire cannon actions, ground movement, turbulence, and crosswind effects and can be combined with augmented reality/VR to create an unparalleled level of realism. The smoother operation of the rudder can be effectively trained with the combination of yaw and pivot.
