Perfect! It does exactly what it says! As long as you follow the installation instructions correctly. Note, it does not work on its own, and a Tapo Hub is also required.

1) There is no battery level indicator in the app to notify you in time, unlike the water leak sensor from the same company which shows it on the icon as soon as you open the app.
2) It needs to be very close to the hub to work, which makes its operation difficult, and
3) Unreliable indications in the app. I have removed the battery for over an hour and the app does not show it as offline or without signal!!

Very good and useful product. Immediate response. I would say it's small and discreet in size. I have it in my little shop and I have set it up through the Hub 200 to turn on the main light switch and to trigger the alarm in case of thefts...

It requires an intermediate router (HUB) of the Zigbee type. The problem is that it is likely to only work with a TAPO HUB, not one from another company. Care should be taken when choosing to purchase...

Good construction and proper performance.
I would prefer them to be somewhat smaller (especially one of the two stems) so that they are more discreet in the places where one puts them.
I would also prefer if the distance of their reaction could be somewhat adjusted (the limit in the gap between the two stems) so that one could make them react at much smaller distances than those currently measured as open.
Yes, they require a TP-Link Tapo hub (one of the two Tapo models available) to connect (so they do not connect independently to the routers' WiFi or to a hub of another brand) but they are visible in Google Home, allowing them to be combined with devices of other brands through Google Home rules.
They may be somewhat expensive, but they are good and I recommend them.

It also needs the Tapo hub to work. Perfect. It sends an instant signal when the door opens (that's where I placed it). The Tapo app is excellent in my opinion.

I have had the sensors for about two months and they work perfectly (unlike similar SONOFF ones placed in exactly the same spots).

It has a flaw. Often, when the contact remains open for a long time, it gets stuck in this notification even if it is closed. Additionally, it does not have the ability to cancel this useless notification that says "the contact remained open for more than 1 minute"... What a useless notification it is, as it notifies you when it opened and when it closed!... Furthermore, the menu, unlike all the other TP-LINK gadgets, is cumbersome!

The Tapo H100 Smart Hub is required for it to function, if you have it, you're good to go. The automations that you can set through the Tapo App for mobile devices have a fast response time as they are executed locally without the need for the cloud. You can integrate it into Home Assistant, but the automations there do not have the same speed because polling occurs every few seconds. I use it to command a smart bulb to turn on (via the Tapo app) and the response is immediate.

You can set a delay, for example, 10 seconds, or if the door remains open for more than half an hour or 1 or 5 minutes per hour.

I bought 2 for the garage and the door as we tend to forget them open from time to time and animals get inside. While I installed them as perfectly as possible in terms of distance, etc., the one on the garage door works correctly, but the other one on the regular door does not work properly when closing. No matter how close I bring it exactly parallel during closing, half of the times the door shows it as open.
