The Curasept Proxi P08 includes 6 interdental brushes with a metal core, where bristles of different lengths, thicknesses, and densities have been placed for each brush. The size of the core is the main feature when choosing the appropriate interdental brush. It should have the right thickness to reach even the smallest spaces and the proper flexibility to remove dental plaque without bending. The body of the interdental brush is designed to facilitate grip and control of movement.

The interdental brush is a tool for removing bacterial plaque from various spaces by inserting it into the interdental area. For this reason, interdental brushes are available in different diameters to offer one or more sizes that can reach various spaces without causing damage to the gums. The dimensions of the interdental brushes correspond to ISO standards, which differentiate interdental spaces by diameter. The diameter of the interdental brush (and therefore its ISO category) is determined by the diameter of the metal core plus the bristles placed on it. The size of the interdental brush is considered correct when the bristles fully fill the interdental space and the tool enters the space without resistance, with gentle pressure.
