The Uni-Ball marker writes on and decorates surfaces made of paper, plastic, glass, metal and fabric, as well as photographs and greeting cards. Its ink is water-soluble and the round tip is 0.9–1.3 mm thick. To start the ink flow, shake the marker and press the tip onto scrap paper; repeat the same process when more ink is needed.
