The tempered glass is a hardened glass specially designed to cover and protect the mobile phone's screen from scratches and other damages. It does not affect the screen's functionality. In case of a fall, it provides additional protection, although it does not guarantee that the screen will not break. It features adhesive across its entire surface, unlike edge glue screens which have adhesive only around the perimeter. This helps in better application and trouble-free touch screen operation. Additionally, it prevents dust from passing underneath, which can happen with edge glue when the perimeter adhesive wears out.
