AF Iron Boost 250ml
Professional easily absorbable iron supplement for aquarium plants. Iron participates in various metabolic processes and, mainly, plays a critical role in the synthesis of chlorophyll—the green pigment. Its presence determines the efficiency of photosynthesis. Iron absorption depends on the content of macro- and micronutrients, the pH, and the form of the iron itself.
A common problem in aquariums is iron deficiency, as the form of iron is often not absorbable by plants. Iron deficiency leads to chlorophyll loss, resulting in chlorosis, which manifests as yellowing and necrosis of leaves. The optimal iron concentration in aquarium water should be 0.1-1 mg/l. AF Iron Boost contains a concentrated dose of easily absorbable chelated iron (Fe2+) for aquarium plants.
Usage:
- The recommended iron concentration in the aquarium is 0.1-1 mg per liter of water.
- For correct iron levels in the aquarium: 1 ml AF Iron Boost per 100 liters of water once a week.
- To replenish deficiencies, higher doses may be administered with regular monitoring of the iron content in the water.
Supplementation should be maintained until satisfactory results are achieved. It is recommended to be used alongside AF Micro and AF Macro products. Absorbents such as zeolite and/or activated carbon may reduce the product's effectiveness. Intended for use in aquariums only. Protect from sunlight. Store at room temperature in a tightly closed container, away from children.
1 ml in 10 liters of water will increase the iron (Fe) level by 0.4 mg/l (ppm).
