Octomore 8.2 is one of the most distinctive expressions of the well-known Octomore series from the Bruichladdich distillery. This edition matures for 8 years in selected sweet wine barrels, offering unique complexity and exceptional balance despite the intensity of the smoke.
Tasting Profile:
- Nose: Intense smoke with a sea breeze, red fruits, plum jam, honey, vanilla, and a light BBQ note.
- Palate: Rich and creamy with caramel, blackberry, chocolate, bacon smoke, a salty sensation, spices, and robust peat.
- Finish: Long and addictive, with notes of charcoal-ash, sea traces, fruit, nuts, vanilla, and a sweet finish with honey and intense texture.

- Extreme peat intensity (167 PPM) that remains balanced thanks to advanced wine maturation.
