F&F AZ-112-LED Twilight Sensor Switch
The F&F AZ-112-LED switch is used to change the atmosphere of a space with LED lights or other power sources, depending on the light intensity. It activates at sunset and deactivates at sunrise.
The twilight sensor includes an external probe Ø10 mm. The length of the probe is 1 meter.
Operation: Used for automatic activation and deactivation of street lighting, squares, screens, advertisements, etc., during sunset and sunrise. It operates effectively with currents up to 120 A / 20 ms, and the AZ-112-LED easily handles the switching on and off of LED lighting.
Probe operation: Installed at a point with stable access to natural light, which will activate and deactivate the lighting. The lighting activation time can be adjusted with a potentiometer. Turning towards the "moon" delays activation, while turning towards the "sun" activates earlier. The device delays activation and deactivation to eliminate interference effects (e.g., atmospheric discharges).
The device protection includes its tight covering, e.g., with a cardboard case or thick dark fabric. Covering only the "window" of the probe, e.g., with a finger, is not sufficient because sunlight penetrates through the plastic casing and the human body.
Waterproof external probe: Compact light sensor easy to install, equipped with a 1-meter cable extendable up to 10 meters. Cable connections should be made in a waterproof enclosure or in a location isolated from weather conditions. Do not place probe cables near parallel cables that are live or carry high currents.
