The Stelrad Novello radiator is a type 11 steel panel radiator made from cold-rolled steel. The corrugated panel sections are spaced 33.3 mm apart, with convection fins welded to the inner sides of the water channels. It has an integrated thermostatic valve and a single valve assembly, with an insert without a thermostatic head, plugs and an air vent.
Connections can be made from the bottom or sides, on the right or left. Monclac-type brackets are included, allowing the radiator to be reversed, along with cardboard edge protectors. The surface undergoes degreasing, iron phosphating, passivation and rinsing, followed by electrophoretic dip coating and baking, electrostatic powder coating and a second bake. The construction meets BAGUV safety requirements, while thermal output has been tested in accordance with EN 442.
