The ALLTEST Monkeypox Virus Antigen Rapid Test is a rapid chromatographic immunoassay intended for the qualitative detection of the A29L antigen of the monkeypox virus in human serum, plasma, whole blood, exudate, and throat samples.

It is used for the diagnosis of monkeypox virus infection. During the test:

• the monkeypox virus antigen reacts with the MPX A29L antibody-coated particle,
• the mixture moves upward on the membrane chromatographically by capillary action,
• it reacts with the monkeypox virus antibody on the membrane and creates a colored line.

The presence of this colored line in the test area indicates a positive result, while its absence indicates a negative result.
