Nice feeling but I wouldn't say the keys are particularly high quality. You realize this when you remove them from the keyboard (for example, to replace the command keys with win, etc.)
As for the bluetooth connection, when the keyboard goes to sleep it takes a while to "wake up" compared to the Dell I had, where I never noticed such a thing.
The RGB lighting does not pass "through" the keys.
The management application is an online app!

Όσο αφορά την σύνδεση με bluetooth, όταν το πληκτρολόγιο πέσει σε sleep αργεί να "ξυπνήσει" σε σχέση με το dell που είχα στο οποίο ποτέ δεν καταλάβαινα κάτι τέτοιο.
Ο RGB φωτισμός δεν περνάει "μέσα" από τα πλήκτρα.
H εφαρμογή για την διαχείριση είναι online app!
As a huge fan of Keychron keyboards (from the time when they didn’t exist in Greece, you could only order from the American or Dutch site and along with the keyboard they would send you candies and a handwritten thank you note), I more or less knew what to expect: amazing packaging, goodies like a decent key puller, high-end USB cable with a 90-degree connector, etc., compatibility with Windows and MacOS/iOS, plus exemplary build quality which was the best part.
But this here exceeded every expectation on every level. Very premium feel, wonderful large curved keycaps with a very ergonomic tilt, excellent design (especially the wood on the sides, but also the chassis in general), instant wireless Bluetooth connection with Macbook and of course the cherry on top are the Hall Effect switches. Almost silent with amazing feel and response. I had never tried Hall Effect before. I spent a few minutes during setup and it felt like I had been working on the keyboard for a long time. Then I went back to my old (and theoretically more expensive) Corsair Strafe with brown Cherry MX and my first question was how I’ve been typing on this thing for so many years and how much better the K8 HE felt in every way.
We’ll have to see how long the battery lasts with continuous Bluetooth operation. I read somewhere about roughly a week if the RGB LEDs are on and about a month with the lights off.
The package includes a 1-meter braided USB cable with a 90-degree USB-C connector, a keycap puller with the two classic wires on one side and a claw on the other, extra keycaps for Windows functions (since the defaults are the classic Option, Command for Macs), a 2.4GHz USB dongle and also a “dummy” adapter with a female standard USB-A on one side and a female USB-C on the other. The latter, if I understood correctly, is for connecting the dongle via cable (and not directly onto the PC’s USB ports), so you can bring it closer to the keyboard to avoid interference, etc.
I declare myself an even bigger fan of Keychron.

Μετά επέστρεψα στο παλιό μου (και θεωρητικά ακριβότερο) Corsair Strafe με brown Cherry MX και η πρώτη μου απορία ήταν πως γράφω τόσα χρόνια σε αυτό το πράγμα και πόσο καλύτερο μου φάνηκε το K8 HE στα πάντα.
Μένει να δούμε πόσο κρατάει η μπαταρία με διαρκή λειτουργία σε Bluetooth. Κάπου διάβασα για περίπου μια εβδομάδα αν τα RGB LED είναι ενεργοποιημένο και περίπου ένα μήνα με τα φωτάκια σβηστά.
Στη συσκευασία συμπεριλαμβάνονται braided USB καλώδιο 1 μέτρου με ακροδέκτη USB-C 90 μοιρών, keycap puller με τα 2 κλασικά συρματάκια από τη μία μεριά και δαγκάνα από την άλλη, έξτρα keycaps για λειτουργίες των Windows (μιας και τα default είναι τα κλασικά Option, Command των Mac), 2,4GHz USB dongle και επίσης adapter "μούφα" με θηλυκό standard USB-A από τη μία και θηλυκό USB-C από την άλλη. Το τελευταίο αν κατάλαβα καλά είναι για να συνδέσεις το dongle μέσω καλωδίου (και όχι απευθείας πάνω στα USB ports του PC), ώστε να το φέρεις πιο κοντά στο πληκτρολόγιο για αποφυγή παρεμβολών κλπ.

Εξαιρετική συσκευασία , καταπληκτική ποιότητα , ίσως να παιδευτείτε λίγο για να κάνετε firmware update αλλά είναι απαραίτητο για να ενεργοποιηθεί ο adaptor των 2.4ghz. Εξαιρετικό προιόν για τα λεφτά του γύρω στα 130 euro.

Το τελευταίο αν κατάλαβα καλά είναι για να συνδέσεις το dongle μέσω καλωδίου (και όχι απευθείας πάνω στα USB ports του PC), ώστε να το φέρεις πιο κοντά στο πληκτρολόγιο για αποφυγή παρεμβολών κλπ.
Excellent packaging, amazing quality, you might struggle a bit to do the firmware update but it is necessary to activate the 2.4GHz adaptor. Excellent product for its price, around 130 euros.

Nice feeling but I wouldn't say the keys are particularly high quality. You realize this when you remove them from the keyboard (for example, to replace the command keys with win, etc.)
As for the bluetooth connection, when the keyboard goes to sleep it takes a while to "wake up" compared to the Dell I had, where I never noticed such a thing.
The RGB lighting does not pass "through" the keys.
The management application is an online app!
Ωραία αίσθηση αλλά τα πλήκτρα δεν θα έλεγα οτι είναι ιδιαίτερα ποιοτικά. Αυτό το καταλαβαίνεις όταν τα βγάλεις από το πληκτρολόγιο (για να αντικαταστήσεις πχ τα command με win, κλπ.)
Όσο αφορά την σύνδεση με bluetooth, όταν το πληκτρολόγιο πέσει σε sleep αργεί να "ξυπνήσει" σε σχέση με το dell που είχα στο οποίο ποτέ δεν καταλάβαινα κάτι τέτοιο.
Ο RGB φωτισμός δεν περνάει "μέσα" από τα πλήκτρα.
H εφαρμογή για την διαχείριση είναι online app!
As a huge fan of Keychron keyboards (from the time when they didn’t exist in Greece, you could only order from the American or Dutch site and along with the keyboard they would send you candies and a handwritten thank you note), I more or less knew what to expect: amazing packaging, goodies like a decent key puller, high-end USB cable with a 90-degree connector, etc., compatibility with Windows and MacOS/iOS, plus exemplary build quality which was the best part.
But this here exceeded every expectation on every level. Very premium feel, wonderful large curved keycaps with a very ergonomic tilt, excellent design (especially the wood on the sides, but also the chassis in general), instant wireless Bluetooth connection with Macbook and of course the cherry on top are the Hall Effect switches. Almost silent with amazing feel and response. I had never tried Hall Effect before. I spent a few minutes during setup and it felt like I had been working on the keyboard for a long time. Then I went back to my old (and theoretically more expensive) Corsair Strafe with brown Cherry MX and my first question was how I’ve been typing on this thing for so many years and how much better the K8 HE felt in every way.
We’ll have to see how long the battery lasts with continuous Bluetooth operation. I read somewhere about roughly a week if the RGB LEDs are on and about a month with the lights off.
The package includes a 1-meter braided USB cable with a 90-degree USB-C connector, a keycap puller with the two classic wires on one side and a claw on the other, extra keycaps for Windows functions (since the defaults are the classic Option, Command for Macs), a 2.4GHz USB dongle and also a “dummy” adapter with a female standard USB-A on one side and a female USB-C on the other. The latter, if I understood correctly, is for connecting the dongle via cable (and not directly onto the PC’s USB ports), so you can bring it closer to the keyboard to avoid interference, etc.
I declare myself an even bigger fan of Keychron.
Ως μέγας fan των πληκτρολογίων Keychron (από την εποχή που δεν υπήρχαν Ελλάδα, μπορούσες να παραγγείλεις μόνο από το αμερικάνικο ή το ολλανδικό site και μαζί με το πληκτρολόγιο σου έστελναν καραμέλες και ιδιόχειρο σημείωμα ευχαριστιών), ήξερα περίπου τι να περιμένω: φοβερή συσκευασία, καλούδια όπως αξιοπρεπές key puller, high-end USB καλώδιο με ακροδέκτη 90 μοιρών κλπ, συμβατότητα με Window και MacOS/iOS, συν υποδειγματική ποιότητα κατασκευής που ήταν και το καλύτερο.
Αυτό όμως εδώ ξεπέρασε κάθε προσδοκία σε κάθε επίπεδο. Πολύ premium αίσθηση, θαυμάσια μεγάλα καμπυλωμένα keycaps με πολύ εργονομική κλίση, εξαιρετικό design (ειδικά το ξύλο στα πλάγια, αλλά και γενικά το σασί), άμεση ασύρματη σύνδεση bluetooth με Macbook και φυσικά με το κερασάκι στην τούρτα να είναι τα Hall Effect switches. Σχεδόν αθόρυβα με καταπληκτική αίσθηση και απόκριση. Δεν είχα ξαναδοκιμάσει Hall Effect. Ασχολήθηκα λίγα λεπτά κατά το σετάρισμα και ήταν σαν να δούλευα για καιρό στο πληκτρολόγιο. Μετά επέστρεψα στο παλιό μου (και θεωρητικά ακριβότερο) Corsair Strafe με brown Cherry MX και η πρώτη μου απορία ήταν πως γράφω τόσα χρόνια σε αυτό το πράγμα και πόσο καλύτερο μου φάνηκε το K8 HE στα πάντα.
Μένει να δούμε πόσο κρατάει η μπαταρία με διαρκή λειτουργία σε Bluetooth. Κάπου διάβασα για περίπου μια εβδομάδα αν τα RGB LED είναι ενεργοποιημένο και περίπου ένα μήνα με τα φωτάκια σβηστά.
Στη συσκευασία συμπεριλαμβάνονται braided USB καλώδιο 1 μέτρου με ακροδέκτη USB-C 90 μοιρών, keycap puller με τα 2 κλασικά συρματάκια από τη μία μεριά και δαγκάνα από την άλλη, έξτρα keycaps για λειτουργίες των Windows (μιας και τα default είναι τα κλασικά Option, Command των Mac), 2,4GHz USB dongle και επίσης adapter "μούφα" με θηλυκό standard USB-A από τη μία και θηλυκό USB-C από την άλλη.
