I bought this device 2 months ago with a contract from Cosmote and it is the worst thing I have ever held in my hands! The device, due to overheating, became curved while before this I had the Redmi Note 10 Pro for 3 years without the slightest issue! Xiaomi, of course, does not recognize it as a defective product but as my own misuse! Stay away from Xiaomi 15, spend a little more money and get something better, I will throw away €230!

-It freezes for no reason at all.
-I open simple apps like Twitter and TikTok and it takes 1 minute to load, IF they load at all.
-It doesn't send notifications for several apps, and for important apps like Viber or Facebook Messenger, someone might send you something important and you won't see it. Only Instagram and maybe Reddit send notifications on time.
-When I connect to wifi after a while, it's a TORTURE, it takes 2 minutes for browsing to stop being slow.
-I switch between apps and in 10 seconds it refreshes the previous app.
-Sometimes when I get a call, there is no option to accept or reject the call... it just rings lol
It does have some positives, I like the front camera, the wallpaper options, big battery, etc., but everything else makes it a phone that will get on your nerves every day. I had a Redmi Note 8 for 5 years and it was perfect, so I thought I'd get from the same company to be sure... BIG MISTAKE!

-Ανοίγω απλές εφαρμογές τύπου τουίτερ και τίκτοκ και κάνει 1 λεπτό να φορτώσουν, και ΑΝ φορτώσουν.
-Ειδοποιήσεις για αρκετές εφαρμογές δεν στέλνει, και για σημαντικές εφαρμογές τύπου Viber η Facebook messanger, να σου στείλει κάποιος κάτι σημαντικό και να μην το δεις. Μόνο ίνσταγκραμ άντε και reddit στέλνει κανονικά ειδοποιήσεις στην ώρα του.
-Όταν συνδέομαι σε wifi μετά από αρκετή ώρα, ΒΑΣΑΝΟ, 2 λεπτά να σταματήσει να είναι αργή η πλοήγηση.
-Πηδάω από εφαρμογή και σε 10 δεύτερα σου κάνει ανανέωση στην προηγούμενη εφαρμογή
-Με καλούν και ορισμένες φορές δεν εμφανίζεται επιλογή για αποδοχή ή απόρριψη κλήσης... απλά χτυπάει ο ήχος λολ
Έχει και κάποια θετικά, μ' αρέσει η μπροστινή κάμερα, οι επιλογές για φόντο, μεγάλη μπαταρία κτλ, αλλά όλα τα υπόλοιπα το κάνουν ένα κινητό για σπάσιμο νεύρων καθημερινά. Είχα Redmi Note 8 για 5 χρόνια και ήταν τέλειο, και έλεγα να πάρω από ίδια εταιρεία για να είμαι σίγουρος.... ΜΕΓΑ ΛΑΘΟΣ!
Xiaomi owner for 12 years... For its price, it's good. Fast, doesn't lag anywhere. There were some negatives at first but with updates they were fixed. The first was that I had calls from contacts saved in the phone but it didn't show the name and surname, but that was fixed... Photos are good. Video is good. I don't play games so I can't say anything... In the sun you need to have the brightness all the way up, that's what works for me... I got the 8-256 version. I repeat, for its price it's a fine phone. Now, complaints about photos, video, games—there are consoles, cameras, you do your job... You get what you pay for...

It freezes all the time, when I exit apps the whole screen goes black and it doesn't show me either the wallpaper or the apps. The truth is that, in terms of battery, it's the best you can find for this price, but all the above flaws make it an average to bad phone

the worst thing I have ever held in my hands. I am a simple user, web browsing and simple applications. it lags at every step, any selection has a delay of a few seconds. The 9T it replaced did not lag despite its age. even the battery, which is nominally bigger, lasts less. I always had a xiaomi device in the 200€ price range, I have never seen such a mess!!
ότι χειρότερο έχω πιάσει στα χέρια μου. είμαι απλός χρήστης, web browsing και απλές εφαρμογές. κολλάει σε κάθε βήμα, οποιαδήποτε επιλογή έχει καθυστέρηση μερικών δευτερολέπτων. Το 9Τ που αντικατέστησε δεν κόλλαγε παρά την ηλικία του. ακόμα και η παταρία που ονομαστικά είναι μεγαλύτερη, κρατάει λιγότερο. πάντα συσκευή xiaomi είχα στο price range των 200€, τέτοιο χάλι δεν έχω ξαναδεί!!
An excellent mobile phone, with a huge screen, all the latest connectivity versions, I would also say quite fast in opening applications (not to mention its speed in this area is almost instantaneous), and a battery that lasts at least 12 to 15 hours of operation (from early morning until late at night), it has also received Hyper OS 3 and is very swift in its use. Ένα εξαιρετικό κινητό τηλέφωνο,με τεράστια οθόνη, όλες τις νεότερες εκδόσεις συνδεσιμότητας,θα το έλεγα και αρκετά γρήγορο στο άνοιγμα εφαρμογών ( μην πω και ακαριαία η ταχύτητα του σε αυτό ακριβώς τον τομέα),και μπαταρία που διαρκεί τουλάχιστον 12 με 15 ώρες λειτουργίας ( από νωρίς το πρωί έως και αργά το βραδάκι),έχει πάρει και το Hyper os 3 και είναι πάρα πολύ σβέλτο στην χρήση του.(υπάρχουν και αρκετά themes να περάσεις).Το προτείνω για όλα τα παραπάνω αλλά και λόγο της φοβερής τιμής του.Ευχαριστω. για την ανάγνωση.

I received 2 of the same devices 2 days ago, one for me and one for my wife. The unboxing started with a big surprise. The package includes a 33W charger and a screen protector is already placed on the screen (it's not just a film like other devices have). Beyond that, the phone has been running perfectly for 2 days now. The battery lasted a day and a bit with endless use of apps and games. I think for its price it is just right, and it's also 5G.
Παρέλαβα πριν 2 μέρες 2 ίδια για μένα και την γυναίκα μου. Ξεκίνησε με μεγάλη έκπληξη το unboxing. Η συσκευασία περιέχει και φορτιστή 33W και επάνω στην οθόνη είναι τοποθετημένο "τζαμάκι" (δεν είναι ζελατίνα όπως έχουν άλλες συσκευές). Από εκεί και πέρα το κινητό 2 μέρες τώρα "τρέχει" με χίλια. Η μπαταρία κράτησε 1 μέρα και κάτι με ατελείωτη χρήση σε εφαρμογές και παιχνίδια. Νομίζω ότι για τα λεφτά του είναι ότι πρέπει και για 5G.
The phone is amazing, no exaggeration! I enter apps extremely fast, it has a lot of space and perfect graphics, 5G data is just super. I don't know what the negative comments are about, I mean, what did you want, a NASA phone? For everyday use, it's awesome, I highly recommend it!!!
Το κινητό φυσάει χωρίς καμία υπερβολή! μπαίνω σε εφαρμογές τέρμα γρήγορα έχει πάρα πολύ χώρο και τέλεια γραφικά, δεδομένα 5g δεν θα πω κάτι απλά σούπερ. Δεν ξέρω τι λένε τα αρνητικά σχόλια δηλαδή τι θέλατε τηλέφωνο της Nasa . Για καθημερινή χρήση είναι φοβερό το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα!!!

Very good so far. Large and high-quality screen when it comes to videos on social media and streaming apps. Photos are quite good, it shoots video at 1080/30fps. In general, the camera is ok for my needs since I’m not too concerned about this part, I have a mirrorless for that job so it comes second. However, it does not disappoint!

I have the 8/256 version and I set a memory extension of 8GB RAM through the settings, the phone is "blazing fast". Its camera is not something top-notch, but it's good enough. The screen's touch is excellent. Large screen and large battery!!! For its price, it is recommended as a VFM choice!!!
Έχω την έκδοση 8/256 και του όρισα επέκταση μνήμης 8GB RAM μέσω των ρυθμίσεων, το τηλέφωνο σε ταχύτητα "φυσάει". Η κάμερα του δεν είναι κάτι κορυφαίο, αλλά αρκούντως καλή. Το touch της οθόνης εξαιρετικό. Μεγάλη οθόνη και μεγάλη μπαταρία!!! Στα χρήματα του προτείνεται ως VFM επιλογή!!!
They gave it to me as a gift. Very poor camera resolution, relatively slow and with an old version of hyper os. It is definitely not worth its money. I have a Xiaomi from 2021 that is far superior. I finally exchanged it with a gift card

Τώρα στα εντός εισαγωγικων αρνητικά...που στα 150 ευρώ μέσο όρο δεν βρίσκεις και το τέλειο κινητό μη τρελάθουμε κιόλας.
Ναι δεν έχει ανάλυση και χρώματα όπως πχ το redminote 14 προφανώς (για αυτούς που δεν ξέρουν εννοώ ζωντάνια και χρώματα μενού και αρχικής οθόνης), αλλά σαν συσκευή για τα βασικά ξαναλέω με άνεση οθόνης, ταχύτητας, μπαταρίας και μνήμης, είναι υπερκομπλε.
Έχεις να βάλεις 150-170 ευρώ για αγορά κινητού; Τότε ναι .. υπάρχουν σίγουρα ίδιου επιπέδου στα ίδια λεφτά αλλά όχι με τόσο μεγάλη οθόνη και μπαταρία; Δύσκολο

Although for years I was one of Xiaomi’s biggest supporters — phones, vacuums, scooters, whatever they released I bought without a second thought — after buying the Redmi 15 5G I can say with absolute certainty that the company is finished for me. My experience with the device was so infuriating that I am forced to write this review to warn anyone considering buying it.
I made two monumental mistakes:
1) I bought it from a physical store and not from Skroutz.
The result? I got it at a higher price without having read the reviews here. Purely my own carelessness. If I had done so, I wouldn’t have touched it even with gloves.
2) I assumed that by buying from a store I would get better service.
Reality is light years away. The treatment I received I can only describe as disappointing. Impersonal process, no willingness to take the problem seriously, and finally a rubber-stamp response that “they could not reproduce the problem.” As if all the users worldwide reporting the exact same issue are ghosts.
And now the phone itself. Warning: it’s tragic.
We’re not just talking about a slow phone. We’re talking about a device that crawls. My old Redmi Note 8 – six years old, scratched, battered – is many times better in every way. Performance, battery, stability, app operation, everything.
RAM and operating system – a parody
To “hide” the anemic RAM and limited capabilities, it seems they have implemented extremely aggressive background app locking. Not only do apps close… they vanish within 2-3 seconds.
A prime example:
I try to activate National Bank’s eBanking.
The process requires you to receive a code by email.
I open the email, see the code, go back to the app… and it has restarted itself!
And again from the beginning. And again. And again. Until the code expires.
This is not a phone. It’s a torture device.
Notifications? Don’t expect anything.
Viber, Messenger, banking, anything… are automatically killed. The device behaves as if it’s in permanent “battery saver mode” even when everything is turned off. Absolutely no app can stay in the background for more than 10–15 seconds.
Internationally known problem
I searched in forums. Unfortunately, I’m not the only one. The entire Redmi 15 5G series is reported by users worldwide as problematic. That says something.
Technical support – experience worse than the device
The phone was sent for inspection, where supposedly “no problem was found.” Similar comments from dozens of users, international reports, and detailed descriptions… ignored.
I felt that the case just needed to be “closed” formally, without any real inspection.
At this point, I’m not going to wait any longer. For me, the device is already a lost cause.
Conclusion: Don’t buy it under any circumstances
If someone wants my opinion straight:
The Redmi 15 5G is one of the worst phones released in recent years. It can’t be saved, it can’t be improved, it won’t “settle” with updates. It is fundamentally flawed in design and unsuitable for daily use.
If you buy it, you will most likely regret your money.
After this experience, I personally am turning to Samsung — and for the first time in 10 years, I am leaving Xiaomi behind.
WARNING:
If you are even slightly considering buying it: Don’t do it.

Παρότι επί χρόνια ήμουν από τους μεγαλύτερους υποστηρικτές της Xiaomi — κινητά, σκούπες, πατίνια, ό,τι έβγαζε το αγόραζα χωρίς δεύτερη σκέψη — μετά την αγορά του Redmi 15 5G μπορώ να πω με απόλυτη βεβαιότητα ότι η εταιρεία έχει τελειώσει για μένα. Η εμπειρία μου με τη συσκευή ήταν τόσο εξοργιστική, που αναγκάζομαι να γράψω αυτή την αξιολόγηση για να προειδοποιήσω όποιον σκέφτεται να το αγοράσει.
Έκανα δύο μνημειώδη λάθη:
1) Το αγόρασα από φυσικό κατάστημα και όχι από Skroutz.
Το αποτέλεσμα; Το πήρα ακριβότερα χωρίς να έχω διαβάσει τις κριτικές εδώ. Καθαρά δική μου απροσεξία. Αν το είχα κάνει, δεν θα το άγγιζα ούτε με γάντια.
2) Θεώρησα πως αγοράζοντας από κατάστημα θα έχω καλύτερη εξυπηρέτηση.
Η πραγματικότητα απέχει έτη φωτός. Η αντιμετώπιση που έλαβα θα την περιέγραφα μόνο ως απογοητευτική. Απρόσωπη διαδικασία, καμία διάθεση να δουν το πρόβλημα στα σοβαρά, και τελικά απάντηση-σφραγίδα ότι «δεν μπόρεσαν να αναπαράγουν το πρόβλημα». Λες και όλοι οι χρήστες διεθνώς που αναφέρουν το ίδιο ακριβώς θέμα είναι φαντάσματα.
Και τώρα το ίδιο το κινητό. Προειδοποίηση: είναι τραγικό.
Δεν μιλάμε απλώς για αργό κινητό. Μιλάμε για συσκευή που σέρνεται. Το παλιό μου Redmi Note 8 – με έξι χρόνια στην πλάτη του, γρατζουνισμένο, ταλαιπωρημένο – είναι πολλαπλάσια καλύτερο σε όλα. Απόδοση, μπαταρία, σταθερότητα, λειτουργία εφαρμογών, τα πάντα.
RAM και λειτουργικό – μια παρωδία
Για να “κρύψουν” την αναιμική RAM και τις περιορισμένες δυνατότητες, φαίνεται πως έχουν κάνει επιθετικότατο κλείδωμα των εφαρμογών στο παρασκήνιο. Όχι απλώς κλείνουν… εξαϋλώνονται μέσα σε 2-3 δευτερόλεπτα.
Τρανό παράδειγμα:
Προσπαθώ να ενεργοποιήσω το eBanking της Εθνικής.
Η διαδικασία απαιτεί να λάβεις κωδικό στο email.
Ανοίγω το email, βλέπω τον κωδικό, γυρίζω πίσω στην εφαρμογή… και έχει κάνει restart μόνη της!
Και ξανά από την αρχή. Και ξανά. Και ξανά. Μέχρι να λήξει ο κωδικός.
Αυτό δεν είναι κινητό. Είναι εργαλείο βασανισμού.
Ειδοποιήσεις; Μην περιμένετε τίποτα.
Viber, Messenger, banking, οτιδήποτε… σκοτώνονται αυτόματα. Η συσκευή συμπεριφέρεται σαν να είναι σε μόνιμο “battery saver mode” ακόμα κι όταν όλα είναι απενεργοποιημένα. Κανένα απολύτως app δεν μπορεί να σταθεί στο παρασκήνιο περισσότερο από 10–15 δευτερόλεπτα.
Διεθνώς γνωστό πρόβλημα
Αναζήτησα σε forums. Δυστυχώς, δεν είμαι ο μόνος. Η ολόκληρη σειρά Redmi 15 5G αναφέρεται από χρήστες σε όλο τον κόσμο ως προβληματική. Αυτό κάτι λέει.
Τεχνική υποστήριξη – εμπειρία χειρότερη από τη συσκευή
Το κινητό στάλθηκε για έλεγχο, όπου δήθεν «δεν εντοπίστηκε κανένα πρόβλημα». Ανάλογα σχόλια από δεκάδες χρήστες, διεθνή reports και αναλυτικές περιγραφές… αγνοήθηκαν.
Ένιωσα ότι απλώς έπρεπε να “κλείσει” η υπόθεση τυπικά, χωρίς πραγματικό έλεγχο.
Σε αυτή τη φάση, δεν πρόκειται να περιμένω άλλο. Η συσκευή για μένα είναι ήδη χαμένη υπόθεση.
Συμπέρασμα: Μην το αγοράσετε ούτε κατά διάνοια
Αν κάποιος θέλει τη γνώμη μου χωρίς περιστροφές:
Το Redmi 15 5G είναι από τα χειρότερα κινητά που κυκλοφόρησαν τα τελευταία χρόνια. Δεν σώζεται, δεν βελτιώνεται, δεν «στρώνει» με updates. Είναι σχεδιαστικά προβληματικό και ακατάλληλο για καθημερινή χρήση.
Αν το αγοράσετε, το πιθανότερο είναι να κλαίτε τα λεφτά σας.
Μετά από αυτή την εμπειρία, εγώ προσωπικά στρέφομαι σε Samsung — και για πρώτη φορά μετά από 10 χρόνια, αφήνω τη Xiaomi πίσω μου.
ΠΡΟΕΙΔΟΠΟΙΗΣΗ:
Αν σκέφτεστε έστω και λίγο να το αγοράσετε: Μην το κάνετε.
Θα με θυμηθείτε.

I got the 8GB/256 for 183 euros and I have to say it's the best phone I've seen from Xiaomi. The battery is huge, I played a game for 4 hours straight and the battery didn't go below 70% and the phone didn't get hot while I was playing. The screen has good resolution and also has very good sound. The only disappointment is the camera when recording video. You only have 30 fps, whereas normally for a phone released in August 2025 it should also have 60, but it doesn't bother me much, I don't record videos. Nevertheless, I recommend this phone.
Πήρα το 8GB/256 στα 183 ευρώ και έχω να πω ότι είναι το καλύτερο κινητό που έχω δει από την Xiaomi. Η μπαταρία είναι τεράστια, έπαιζα παιχνίδι για 4 ώρες συνεχόμενα και η μπαταρία δεν πήγε κάτω απο 70% και ούτε ζεστάθηκε το κινητό όσο έπαιζα. Η οθόνη έχει καλή ανάλυση και έχει επίσης πολυ καλό ήχο. Η μόνη απογοήτευση ειναι η κάμερα οταν τραβάς βίντεο. Έχεις μονο 30 fps, ενώ κανονικά για ένα κινητό που βγήκε τον Αύγουστο 2025 θα έπρεπε να έχει και 60, αλλα δεν με πειράζει πολύ, δεν τραβάω βίντεο. Παρόλα αυτά, το συνιστώ αυτό το κινητό.

-I open simple apps like Twitter and TikTok and it takes 1 minute to load, IF they load at all.
-It doesn't send notifications for several apps, and for important apps like Viber or Facebook Messenger, someone might send you something important and you won't see it. Only Instagram and maybe Reddit send notifications on time.
-When I connect to wifi after a while, it's a TORTURE, it takes 2 minutes for browsing to stop being slow.
-I switch between apps and in 10 seconds it refreshes the previous app.
-Sometimes when I get a call, there is no option to accept or reject the call... it just rings lol
It does have some positives, I like the front camera, the wallpaper options, big battery, etc., but everything else makes it a phone that will get on your nerves every day. I had a Redmi Note 8 for 5 years and it was perfect, so I thought I'd get from the same company to be sure... BIG MISTAKE!

-Όταν συνδέομαι σε wifi μετά από αρκετή ώρα, ΒΑΣΑΝΟ, 2 λεπτά να σταματήσει να είναι αργή η πλοήγηση.
-Πηδάω από εφαρμογή και σε 10 δεύτερα σου κάνει ανανέωση στην προηγούμενη εφαρμογή
-Με καλούν και ορισμένες φορές δεν εμφανίζεται επιλογή για αποδοχή ή απόρριψη κλήσης... απλά χτυπάει ο ήχος λολ
Έχει και κάποια θετικά, μ' αρέσει η μπροστινή κάμερα, οι επιλογές για φόντο, μεγάλη μπαταρία κτλ, αλλά όλα τα υπόλοιπα το κάνουν ένα κινητό για σπάσιμο νεύρων καθημερινά. Είχα Redmi Note 8 για 5 χρόνια και ήταν τέλειο, και έλεγα να πάρω από ίδια εταιρεία για να είμαι σίγουρος.... ΜΕΓΑ ΛΑΘΟΣ!

The first was that I had calls from contacts saved in the phone but it didn't show the name and surname, but that was fixed... Photos are good. Video is good. I don't play games so I can't say anything... In the sun you need to have the brightness all the way up, that's what works for me... I got the 8-256 version. I repeat, for its price it's a fine phone. Now, complaints about photos, video, games—there are consoles, cameras, you do your job... You get what you pay for...

It freezes all the time, when I exit apps the whole screen goes black and it doesn't show me either the wallpaper or the apps. The truth is that, in terms of battery, it's the best you can find for this price, but all the above flaws make it an average to bad phone

the worst thing I have ever held in my hands. I am a simple user, web browsing and simple applications. it lags at every step, any selection has a delay of a few seconds. The 9T it replaced did not lag despite its age. even the battery, which is nominally bigger, lasts less. I always had a xiaomi device in the 200€ price range, I have never seen such a mess!!
ότι χειρότερο έχω πιάσει στα χέρια μου. είμαι απλός χρήστης, web browsing και απλές εφαρμογές. κολλάει σε κάθε βήμα, οποιαδήποτε επιλογή έχει καθυστέρηση μερικών δευτερολέπτων. Το 9Τ που αντικατέστησε δεν κόλλαγε παρά την ηλικία του. ακόμα και η παταρία που ονομαστικά είναι μεγαλύτερη, κρατάει λιγότερο. πάντα συσκευή xiaomi είχα στο price range των 200€, τέτοιο χάλι δεν έχω ξαναδεί!!
An excellent mobile phone, with a huge screen, all the latest connectivity versions, I would also say quite fast in opening applications (not to mention its speed in this area is almost instantaneous), and a battery that lasts at least 12 to 15 hours of operation (from early morning until late at night), it has also received Hyper OS 3 and is very swift in its use. (There are also plenty of themes you can install). I recommend it for all the above reasons but also because of its amazing price. Thank you for reading.
Ένα εξαιρετικό κινητό τηλέφωνο,με τεράστια οθόνη, όλες τις νεότερες εκδόσεις συνδεσιμότητας,θα το έλεγα και αρκετά γρήγορο στο άνοιγμα εφαρμογών ( μην πω και ακαριαία η ταχύτητα του σε αυτό ακριβώς τον τομέα),και μπαταρία που διαρκεί τουλάχιστον 12 με 15 ώρες λειτουργίας ( από νωρίς το πρωί έως και αργά το βραδάκι),έχει πάρει και το Hyper os 3 και είναι πάρα πολύ σβέλτο στην χρήση του.(υπάρχουν και αρκετά themes να περάσεις).Το προτείνω για όλα τα παραπάνω αλλά και λόγο της φοβερής τιμής του.Ευχαριστω. για την ανάγνωση.

I received 2 of the same devices 2 days ago, one for me and one for my wife. The unboxing started with a big surprise. The package includes a 33W charger and a screen protector is already placed on the screen (it's not just a film like other devices have). Beyond that, the phone has been running perfectly for 2 days now. The battery lasted a day and a bit with endless use of apps and games. I think for its price it is just right, and it's also 5G.
Παρέλαβα πριν 2 μέρες 2 ίδια για μένα και την γυναίκα μου. Ξεκίνησε με μεγάλη έκπληξη το unboxing. Η συσκευασία περιέχει και φορτιστή 33W και επάνω στην οθόνη είναι τοποθετημένο "τζαμάκι" (δεν είναι ζελατίνα όπως έχουν άλλες συσκευές). Από εκεί και πέρα το κινητό 2 μέρες τώρα "τρέχει" με χίλια. Η μπαταρία κράτησε 1 μέρα και κάτι με ατελείωτη χρήση σε εφαρμογές και παιχνίδια. Νομίζω ότι για τα λεφτά του είναι ότι πρέπει και για 5G.
The phone is amazing, no exaggeration! I enter apps extremely fast, it has a lot of space and perfect graphics, 5G data is just super. I don't know what the negative comments are about, I mean, what did you want, a NASA phone? For everyday use, it's awesome, I highly recommend it!!!
Το κινητό φυσάει χωρίς καμία υπερβολή! μπαίνω σε εφαρμογές τέρμα γρήγορα έχει πάρα πολύ χώρο και τέλεια γραφικά, δεδομένα 5g δεν θα πω κάτι απλά σούπερ. Δεν ξέρω τι λένε τα αρνητικά σχόλια δηλαδή τι θέλατε τηλέφωνο της Nasa . Για καθημερινή χρήση είναι φοβερό το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα!!!

Very good so far. Large and high-quality screen when it comes to videos on social media and streaming apps. Photos are quite good, it shoots video at 1080/30fps. In general, the camera is ok for my needs since I’m not too concerned about this part, I have a mirrorless for that job so it comes second. However, it does not disappoint!
Quite a few ads at first but as days go by this annoying phenomenon subsides a bit!
Battery is a beast but it's better to get a charger with the recommended Watts (for fast charging) because it takes a while with regular ones.

I have the 8/256 version and I set a memory extension of 8GB RAM through the settings, the phone is "blazing fast". Its camera is not something top-notch, but it's good enough. The screen's touch is excellent. Large screen and large battery!!! For its price, it is recommended as a VFM choice!!!
Έχω την έκδοση 8/256 και του όρισα επέκταση μνήμης 8GB RAM μέσω των ρυθμίσεων, το τηλέφωνο σε ταχύτητα "φυσάει". Η κάμερα του δεν είναι κάτι κορυφαίο, αλλά αρκούντως καλή. Το touch της οθόνης εξαιρετικό. Μεγάλη οθόνη και μεγάλη μπαταρία!!! Στα χρήματα του προτείνεται ως VFM επιλογή!!!
They gave it to me as a gift. Very poor camera resolution, relatively slow and with an old version of hyper os. It is definitely not worth its money. I have a Xiaomi from 2021 that is far superior. I finally exchanged it with a gift card

Γενικά δεν κολλάει. Τώρα παιχνίδια βαριά δεν είμαι μπέμπης να παίζω και να κρίνω ταχύτητες κλπ.
Χωρητικότητα για φωτό άπειρη.
Τώρα στα εντός εισαγωγικων αρνητικά...που στα 150 ευρώ μέσο όρο δεν βρίσκεις και το τέλειο κινητό μη τρελάθουμε κιόλας.
Ναι δεν έχει ανάλυση και χρώματα όπως πχ το redminote 14 προφανώς (για αυτούς που δεν ξέρουν εννοώ ζωντάνια και χρώματα μενού και αρχικής οθόνης), αλλά σαν συσκευή για τα βασικά ξαναλέω με άνεση οθόνης, ταχύτητας, μπαταρίας και μνήμης, είναι υπερκομπλε.
Έχεις να βάλεις 150-170 ευρώ για αγορά κινητού; Τότε ναι .. υπάρχουν σίγουρα ίδιου επιπέδου στα ίδια λεφτά αλλά όχι με τόσο μεγάλη οθόνη και μπαταρία; Δύσκολο
(καλύτερα υπάρχουν; λίγο δύσκολο κι αν ναι ελάχιστα)
(Χειρότερα υπάρχουν; Σίγουρα).
Προσπάθησα να δώσω πληροφορίες να καταλάβει ο κοσμακης, για να μην έχει παράλογες απαιτήσεις από κινητά ίδιας αξίας.
Εξαρτάται πάντα από τη τσέπη και τις ανάγκες του καθενός μύστες. Όλα τα υπόλοιπα είναι για λαϊκή κατανάλωση.
Although for years I was one of Xiaomi’s biggest supporters — phones, vacuums, scooters, whatever they released I bought without a second thought — after buying the Redmi 15 5G I can say with absolute certainty that the company is finished for me. My experience with the device was so infuriating that I am forced to write this review to warn anyone considering buying it.
I made two monumental mistakes:
1) I bought it from a physical store and not from Skroutz.
The result? I got it at a higher price without having read the reviews here. Purely my own carelessness. If I had done so, I wouldn’t have touched it even with gloves.
2) I assumed that by buying from a store I would get better service.
Reality is light years away. The treatment I received I can only describe as disappointing. Impersonal process, no willingness to take the problem seriously, and finally a rubber-stamp response that “they could not reproduce the problem.” As if all the users worldwide reporting the exact same issue are ghosts.
And now the phone itself. Warning: it’s tragic.
We’re not just talking about a slow phone. We’re talking about a device that crawls. My old Redmi Note 8 – six years old, scratched, battered – is many times better in every way. Performance, battery, stability, app operation, everything.
RAM and operating system – a parody
To “hide” the anemic RAM and limited capabilities, it seems they have implemented extremely aggressive background app locking. Not only do apps close… they vanish within 2-3 seconds.
A prime example:
I try to activate National Bank’s eBanking.
The process requires you to receive a code by email.
I open the email, see the code, go back to the app… and it has restarted itself!
And again from the beginning. And again. And again. Until the code expires.
This is not a phone. It’s a torture device.
Notifications? Don’t expect anything.
Viber, Messenger, banking, anything… are automatically killed. The device behaves as if it’s in permanent “battery saver mode” even when everything is turned off. Absolutely no app can stay in the background for more than 10–15 seconds.
Internationally known problem
I searched in forums. Unfortunately, I’m not the only one. The entire Redmi 15 5G series is reported by users worldwide as problematic. That says something.
Technical support – experience worse than the device
The phone was sent for inspection, where supposedly “no problem was found.” Similar comments from dozens of users, international reports, and detailed descriptions… ignored.
I felt that the case just needed to be “closed” formally, without any real inspection.
At this point, I’m not going to wait any longer. For me, the device is already a lost cause.
Conclusion: Don’t buy it under any circumstances
If someone wants my opinion straight:
The Redmi 15 5G is one of the worst phones released in recent years. It can’t be saved, it can’t be improved, it won’t “settle” with updates. It is fundamentally flawed in design and unsuitable for daily use.
If you buy it, you will most likely regret your money.
After this experience, I personally am turning to Samsung — and for the first time in 10 years, I am leaving Xiaomi behind.
WARNING:
If you are even slightly considering buying it: Don’t do it.
You’ll remember me.
Παρότι επί χρόνια ήμουν από τους μεγαλύτερους υποστηρικτές της Xiaomi — κινητά, σκούπες, πατίνια, ό,τι έβγαζε το αγόραζα χωρίς δεύτερη σκέψη — μετά την αγορά του Redmi 15 5G μπορώ να πω με απόλυτη βεβαιότητα ότι η εταιρεία έχει τελειώσει για μένα. Η εμπειρία μου με τη συσκευή ήταν τόσο εξοργιστική, που αναγκάζομαι να γράψω αυτή την αξιολόγηση για να προειδοποιήσω όποιον σκέφτεται να το αγοράσει.
Έκανα δύο μνημειώδη λάθη:
1) Το αγόρασα από φυσικό κατάστημα και όχι από Skroutz.
Το αποτέλεσμα; Το πήρα ακριβότερα χωρίς να έχω διαβάσει τις κριτικές εδώ. Καθαρά δική μου απροσεξία. Αν το είχα κάνει, δεν θα το άγγιζα ούτε με γάντια.
2) Θεώρησα πως αγοράζοντας από κατάστημα θα έχω καλύτερη εξυπηρέτηση.
Η πραγματικότητα απέχει έτη φωτός. Η αντιμετώπιση που έλαβα θα την περιέγραφα μόνο ως απογοητευτική. Απρόσωπη διαδικασία, καμία διάθεση να δουν το πρόβλημα στα σοβαρά, και τελικά απάντηση-σφραγίδα ότι «δεν μπόρεσαν να αναπαράγουν το πρόβλημα». Λες και όλοι οι χρήστες διεθνώς που αναφέρουν το ίδιο ακριβώς θέμα είναι φαντάσματα.
Και τώρα το ίδιο το κινητό. Προειδοποίηση: είναι τραγικό.
Δεν μιλάμε απλώς για αργό κινητό. Μιλάμε για συσκευή που σέρνεται. Το παλιό μου Redmi Note 8 – με έξι χρόνια στην πλάτη του, γρατζουνισμένο, ταλαιπωρημένο – είναι πολλαπλάσια καλύτερο σε όλα. Απόδοση, μπαταρία, σταθερότητα, λειτουργία εφαρμογών, τα πάντα.
RAM και λειτουργικό – μια παρωδία
Για να “κρύψουν” την αναιμική RAM και τις περιορισμένες δυνατότητες, φαίνεται πως έχουν κάνει επιθετικότατο κλείδωμα των εφαρμογών στο παρασκήνιο. Όχι απλώς κλείνουν… εξαϋλώνονται μέσα σε 2-3 δευτερόλεπτα.
Τρανό παράδειγμα:
Προσπαθώ να ενεργοποιήσω το eBanking της Εθνικής.
Η διαδικασία απαιτεί να λάβεις κωδικό στο email.
Ανοίγω το email, βλέπω τον κωδικό, γυρίζω πίσω στην εφαρμογή… και έχει κάνει restart μόνη της!
Και ξανά από την αρχή. Και ξανά. Και ξανά. Μέχρι να λήξει ο κωδικός.
Αυτό δεν είναι κινητό. Είναι εργαλείο βασανισμού.
Ειδοποιήσεις; Μην περιμένετε τίποτα.
Viber, Messenger, banking, οτιδήποτε… σκοτώνονται αυτόματα. Η συσκευή συμπεριφέρεται σαν να είναι σε μόνιμο “battery saver mode” ακόμα κι όταν όλα είναι απενεργοποιημένα. Κανένα απολύτως app δεν μπορεί να σταθεί στο παρασκήνιο περισσότερο από 10–15 δευτερόλεπτα.
Διεθνώς γνωστό πρόβλημα
Αναζήτησα σε forums. Δυστυχώς, δεν είμαι ο μόνος. Η ολόκληρη σειρά Redmi 15 5G αναφέρεται από χρήστες σε όλο τον κόσμο ως προβληματική. Αυτό κάτι λέει.
Τεχνική υποστήριξη – εμπειρία χειρότερη από τη συσκευή
Το κινητό στάλθηκε για έλεγχο, όπου δήθεν «δεν εντοπίστηκε κανένα πρόβλημα». Ανάλογα σχόλια από δεκάδες χρήστες, διεθνή reports και αναλυτικές περιγραφές… αγνοήθηκαν.
Ένιωσα ότι απλώς έπρεπε να “κλείσει” η υπόθεση τυπικά, χωρίς πραγματικό έλεγχο.
Σε αυτή τη φάση, δεν πρόκειται να περιμένω άλλο. Η συσκευή για μένα είναι ήδη χαμένη υπόθεση.
Συμπέρασμα: Μην το αγοράσετε ούτε κατά διάνοια
Αν κάποιος θέλει τη γνώμη μου χωρίς περιστροφές:
Το Redmi 15 5G είναι από τα χειρότερα κινητά που κυκλοφόρησαν τα τελευταία χρόνια. Δεν σώζεται, δεν βελτιώνεται, δεν «στρώνει» με updates. Είναι σχεδιαστικά προβληματικό και ακατάλληλο για καθημερινή χρήση.
Αν το αγοράσετε, το πιθανότερο είναι να κλαίτε τα λεφτά σας.
Μετά από αυτή την εμπειρία, εγώ προσωπικά στρέφομαι σε Samsung — και για πρώτη φορά μετά από 10 χρόνια, αφήνω τη Xiaomi πίσω μου.
ΠΡΟΕΙΔΟΠΟΙΗΣΗ:
Αν σκέφτεστε έστω και λίγο να το αγοράσετε: Μην το κάνετε.
Θα με θυμηθείτε.

I got the 8GB/256 for 183 euros and I have to say it's the best phone I've seen from Xiaomi. The battery is huge, I played a game for 4 hours straight and the battery didn't go below 70% and the phone didn't get hot while I was playing. The screen has good resolution and also has very good sound. The only disappointment is the camera when recording video. You only have 30 fps, whereas normally for a phone released in August 2025 it should also have 60, but it doesn't bother me much, I don't record videos. Nevertheless, I recommend this phone.
Πήρα το 8GB/256 στα 183 ευρώ και έχω να πω ότι είναι το καλύτερο κινητό που έχω δει από την Xiaomi. Η μπαταρία είναι τεράστια, έπαιζα παιχνίδι για 4 ώρες συνεχόμενα και η μπαταρία δεν πήγε κάτω απο 70% και ούτε ζεστάθηκε το κινητό όσο έπαιζα. Η οθόνη έχει καλή ανάλυση και έχει επίσης πολυ καλό ήχο. Η μόνη απογοήτευση ειναι η κάμερα οταν τραβάς βίντεο. Έχεις μονο 30 fps, ενώ κανονικά για ένα κινητό που βγήκε τον Αύγουστο 2025 θα έπρεπε να έχει και 60, αλλα δεν με πειράζει πολύ, δεν τραβάω βίντεο. Παρόλα αυτά, το συνιστώ αυτό το κινητό.
I bought this device 2 months ago with a contract from Cosmote and it is the worst thing I have ever held in my hands! The device, due to overheating, became curved while before this I had the Redmi Note 10 Pro for 3 years without the slightest issue! Xiaomi, of course, does not recognize it as a defective product but as my own misuse! Stay away from Xiaomi 15, spend a little more money and get something better, I will throw away €230!
Αγορασα αυτη τη συσκευη πριν 2 μηνες με συμβολαιο απ την cosmote και ειναι οτι χειροτερο εχω πιασει στα χερια μου! Η συσκευη λογο υπερθερμανσης πηρε καμπυλωτο σχημα ενω πριν απο αυτο ειχα το redmi note 10 pro 3 χρονια χωρις να παρουσιασει το παραμικρο θεμα! Η xiaomi φυσικα δεν το αναγνωριζει ως ελλατωματικο προιον αλλα ως δικης μου κακης χρησης! Μακρια απο xiaomi 15, δωστε λιγα χρηματα παραπανω και παρτε κατι ανωτερο, εγω θα πεταξω 230€!
She was not satisfied... The ringtone is neither clear nor loud... I have had it for almost a month and even though I haven't overloaded it, it sometimes freezes.
Δεν έμεινε ευχαριστημένη... Ο ήχος κλήσης δεν είναι καθαρός ούτε κ δυνατός... Το έχω σχεδόν μήνα κ χωρίς να το έχω φορτώσει κάπου κάπου κολλάει.

-It freezes for no reason at all.
-I open simple apps like Twitter and TikTok and it takes 1 minute to load, IF they load at all.
-It doesn't send notifications for several apps, and for important apps like Viber or Facebook Messenger, someone might send you something important and you won't see it. Only Instagram and maybe Reddit send notifications on time.
-When I connect to wifi after a while, it's a TORTURE, it takes 2 minutes for browsing to stop being slow.
-I switch between apps and in 10 seconds it refreshes the previous app.
-Sometimes when I get a call, there is no option to accept or reject the call... it just rings lol
It does have some positives, I like the front camera, the wallpaper options, big battery, etc., but everything else makes it a phone that will get on your nerves every day. I had a Redmi Note 8 for 5 years and it was perfect, so I thought I'd get from the same company to be sure... BIG MISTAKE!

-Κολλάει άνευ λόγου και αιτίας.
-Ανοίγω απλές εφαρμογές τύπου τουίτερ και τίκτοκ και κάνει 1 λεπτό να φορτώσουν, και ΑΝ φορτώσουν.
-Ειδοποιήσεις για αρκετές εφαρμογές δεν στέλνει, και για σημαντικές εφαρμογές τύπου Viber η Facebook messanger, να σου στείλει κάποιος κάτι σημαντικό και να μην το δεις. Μόνο ίνσταγκραμ άντε και reddit στέλνει κανονικά ειδοποιήσεις στην ώρα του.
-Όταν συνδέομαι σε wifi μετά από αρκετή ώρα, ΒΑΣΑΝΟ, 2 λεπτά να σταματήσει να είναι αργή η πλοήγηση.
-Πηδάω από εφαρμογή και σε 10 δεύτερα σου κάνει ανανέωση στην προηγούμενη εφαρμογή
-Με καλούν και ορισμένες φορές δεν εμφανίζεται επιλογή για αποδοχή ή απόρριψη κλήσης... απλά χτυπάει ο ήχος λολ
Έχει και κάποια θετικά, μ' αρέσει η μπροστινή κάμερα, οι επιλογές για φόντο, μεγάλη μπαταρία κτλ, αλλά όλα τα υπόλοιπα το κάνουν ένα κινητό για σπάσιμο νεύρων καθημερινά. Είχα Redmi Note 8 για 5 χρόνια και ήταν τέλειο, και έλεγα να πάρω από ίδια εταιρεία για να είμαι σίγουρος.... ΜΕΓΑ ΛΑΘΟΣ!
Xiaomi owner for 12 years... For its price, it's good. Fast, doesn't lag anywhere. There were some negatives at first but with updates they were fixed. The first was that I had calls from contacts saved in the phone but it didn't show the name and surname, but that was fixed... Photos are good. Video is good. I don't play games so I can't say anything... In the sun you need to have the brightness all the way up, that's what works for me... I got the 8-256 version. I repeat, for its price it's a fine phone. Now, complaints about photos, video, games—there are consoles, cameras, you do your job... You get what you pay for...
Κάτοχος Xiaomi 12 χρόνια... Για τα λεφτά του καλό είναι.. Γρηγορο δεν κολλάει πουθενά..υπήρχαν κάποια αρνητικά στην αρχή αλλά με τις αναβαθμίσεις έφτιαξαν.το πρώτο ήταν είχα κλήσεις που ήταν στις επαφές στο τηλέφωνο και δεν έβγαζε όνομα επώνυμο έφτιαξε.... φωτογραφίες καλεσ
Βίντεο καλό . παιχνιδια δεν παίζω δεν λέω κάτι ... στον ήλιο θέλει φωτεινότητα τέρμα ανοιγμένο έτσι βολεύει εμένα ...... Έκδοση 8-256 έχω πάρει.. επαναλαμβάνω για τα λεφτά του μια χαρά τηλέφωνο είναι..τώρα παράπονα για φωτογραφίες βίντεο παιχνίδια έχει κονσόλες φωτογραφικές μηχανές κάνεις την δουλειά σου .. ότι δίνεις παίρνεις...
It freezes all the time, when I exit apps the whole screen goes black and it doesn't show me either the wallpaper or the apps. The truth is that, in terms of battery, it's the best you can find for this price, but all the above flaws make it an average to bad phone
κολαειι ολη την ωρα οτα βγαινω απο εφαρμαγες μαυριζει ολη η οθονη και δεν μου βγαζει ουτε την ταπετσαρια ουτε τις εφαρμογες η αλειθια ειναι οτι απο μπαταρια ειναι οτι καλυτερο μπορεις να βρει με αυτα τα λεφτα αλλα ολα τα πανω ελατοματα το κανουν ενα μετρια προς κακο κινητο
