The Smallrig 4978 is a lightweight aluminum camera cage designed to support and protect accessories for the Canon EOS R5 Mark II camera. This cage allows access to the camera controls, battery, and SD card slot, while offering a variety of mounting options. The camera is secured to the cage with a single 1/4"-20 screw and features a raised front section to prevent the camera from twisting, as well as a rubber pad on the base to reduce metal-to-metal contact.
