  • Nice game, but the company Thinkfun has clearly released better ones. My low rating is due to the design, which ultimately prevents the laser from hitting the right spot, even if you have found the solution many times.

The game is very original and clever as an idea. If your children like puzzles, they will enjoy it. There is a base where you set up the pieces according to a card of the corresponding "track". Then you have to complete or rotate pieces so that the laser follows a path from the "source" piece to the target and illuminates it. It passes through mirrors and "gates" along the way. Due to its size and the way you play, someone can take it in the car. Unfortunately, I found that the construction, although stable, has some flaws in the "pieces" or in the base, and the ones that function as mirrors are not aligned. This means that in some tracks, the laser ends up hitting the frame from the second or third piece in the row instead of the mirror. Of course, my daughter noticed it but ignored it and continued with the tracks normally. She reached the intermediate level, which is about halfway through the 60 cards, within 2-3 hours. The difficulty increases later, of course. I got it on sale for 23 euros with shipping, and I consider 30 euros to be a high price. It's positive that there are instructions in Greek. Of course, be careful with small children not to turn on the laser and look at it directly (to keep it on, you have to press the button continuously). It works with watch batteries, but it's unlikely that you will need new ones before completing all 60 tracks.
