OBD Steel Covers anti-theft protection. The OBD Steel Covers anti-theft system acts as a small "safe" for the car's OBD (on-board diagnostic). The device is made from a special high-strength reinforced metal alloy using Micro Casting technology and AISI 316.
This special metal box opens only with the coded key and ownership card. The Defender protects access to the car's engine control unit (ECU) with a protective shield on the OBD diagnostic socket. Key programming is effectively prevented, making it impossible for the car to be stolen.
