  • As someone with experience in the field of audio engineering, I can say with confidence that these are one of the worst headphones I have ever heard. I understand the limitations of an open-ear design, but here the problem is not the design — it is the tragic sound quality. The irony is that a company called Baseus, which promotes "bass" so heavily, in reality has bass that is almost nonexistent. Their branding ends up feeling like a bad joke.

Even worse, the DSP/AI continuously processes the sound in such an aggressive way that it completely destroys the dynamics of every track. The peaks are compressed too much, the music sounds flat, with no impact, no liveliness, and no fidelity, regardless of the music genre.

The most shocking thing is that the music sounds noticeably better from a smartphone’s built-in speaker than from these headphones.

The only use I can find for them is for podcasts or speech while walking. If you are buying them to listen to music, I recommend avoiding them. For me, their sound quality is simply unacceptable.

The sound is fine for me, but my interlocutors complain that they can't hear me well and that it doesn't have noise cancellation.

Very good sound even when you wear only one. Excellent for calls and music while running, which is how I use it. You don't even feel it in your ear and you can wear it all day. Although it feels a bit loose, it doesn't go anywhere. Of course, if it falls out of your ear while, for example, putting on or taking off a hat or a jacket with a hood, you might not even realize it came out and you could lose it. So it requires a bit of attention. However, while running and on mountain trails, I haven't had any issues with its stability.
