The Lodge cast iron grill pan has a ridged cooking surface and can be used on all stovetops, as well as in the oven, on the grill or over an open flame. Cast iron retains heat and distributes it evenly. Its surface is pre-seasoned with vegetable oil, so it is ready to use right after purchase.

For best results, apply a thin layer of vegetable oil before use. After cooking, clean with hot water and a stiff plastic brush, dry immediately and lightly oil while still warm. The use of detergent or a dishwasher is not recommended.
