The BIBS Boheme pacifiers are made from latex, a material derived from the sap obtained from the rubber tree (Hevea). This sap is processed to produce latex – a durable, elastic, and soft material with a texture similar to that of the mother's breast.

• The pacifier's nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, adapting to the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity.
• The nipple is made from 100% natural latex.
• The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin.
• The shield is made from 100% safe and tested PP, designed with multiple holes to allow air circulation.

Cleaning and disinfecting the pacifier

Proper hygiene of the pacifier requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene.

Before first use, the pacifier must be disinfected.

Latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100°C. Therefore, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be disinfected in a microwave oven, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or disinfectant solution.

Disinfecting the pacifier involves 3 simple steps:

1. Place the pacifier in a clean bowl.
2. Pour hot water over the pacifier and leave it for 5 minutes.
3. Remove the pacifier onto a clean paper towel and let it dry.

If water has entered inside the nipple (through its valve), press the nipple with a paper towel until the water is expelled.
