Ribwort plantain is a dried herb consisting of the above-ground parts of the plant. It is also known as ribgrass and is used to prepare an infusion, as well as for washes made with a more concentrated infusion.

To prepare the infusion, pour one tablespoon of the herb into a covered container with a cup of boiling water. Leave it to steep for 10–15 minutes, then strain. For washes, use 50–60 g of herb per 1 litre of water. Harvested in Greece, in the Pieria Mountains, at a low altitude in the Imathia region. Store in a cool, dark place at 5–15 °C.
