Historical information and plant morphology: Mustard (Sinapis alba) is an annual plant of the Brassicaceae family. It is mainly cultivated for its seeds, which are used in cooking and medicine. White mustard originates from the Mediterranean region and has spread throughout Europe, Siberia, the Far East, and America.

Properties:
