The preparation process has unique features, including:

• Grinding the mixture with water and sugar.
• Dipping the twines with the walnuts into a cauldron.
• Hanging on poles to stabilize the mixture in a natural environment.

The caramelized, amber color of the loukoum is adorned with almond, adding a special touch to the elongated loukoumia.
