The AXAGON ADM2-AM is a compact M.2 adapter with a 10Gbps USB port, designed for easy use of M.2 NVMe or SATA SSDs. Reliable connection to a computer is possible thanks to a sturdy 10 cm USB-A cable.

The transfer rate reaches up to 10Gb/s, due to the fast USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface. The second generation of the fast USB interface allows harnessing the speed of modern M.2 SSDs. The universal M.2 adapter also supports other modern features such as UASP, TRIM, and allows reading of S.M.A.R.T. disk health monitoring information. It also supports standby mode when inactive.

A unique feature, thanks to the new chipset, is the ability to use both M.2 NVMe and SATA drives. The user does not need to worry about the type of M.2 drive the adapter is designed for—it simply reads all types. Another advantage of the adapter is the quick installation of the drive into the adapter's port, while swapping drives is also easy. These features make the adapter a practical and useful tool for frequent work with different types of drives, making it ideal for drive testing, transfer, storage, and data recovery.

Due to its small size, it can be easily stored and available at any time. The adapter does not obstruct heat dissipation from the drive, extending its lifespan and preventing drive speed reduction known as "Thermal Throttling."
