Adventure calls you again, and this time you don’t have to worry about packing light!

The Adventure Chest is a brand new expansion for Lost Ruins of Arnak featuring an original storage solution designed by CGE that holds all the content released so far for Lost Ruins of Arnak.

The Adventure Chest box is larger and sturdier than the base game’s box, yet still fits on a favorite shelf of board gamers, made in Sweden. The insert consists of 8 separate boxes made of layered PET material and is designed to make setup, play, and cleanup as easy as possible.

Inside the Adventure Chest is a fresh addition to the world of Arnak: the new Twisted Paths expansion. This expansion brings a new double-sided map, larger than the base game’s, and includes two new research paths, each with unique mechanisms and components (such as brand new temple tiles or new resources, dark tablets).

Besides the new maps, the expansion contains new guardians, locations, and assistants, as well as some solo additions — Rival tiles for the new maps, as well as purple Rival tiles and Rival Objectives, two mini expansions that were previously released online as print-and-play.

The Adventure Chest does NOT include other Lost Ruins of Arnak content. The base game or any of the two previous expansions, Expedition Leaders or The Missing Expedition, must be purchased separately.

    Positives:
    1) Saves space as it fits all the components of the base game and the 3 expansions (Expedition Leaders, The Missing Expedition, and Twisted Paths). Essentially, from 4 boxes, you reduce the volume to 1.5 boxes.
    2) It also includes the latest expansion "Twisted Paths," so within the price, you save about 30 euros compared to buying it separately.
    3) Must Have for those who love the board game, as it completes the collection and adds extra hours of gameplay.

    Negatives:
    1) The price compared to the quality. If you subtract the 30 euros that Twisted Paths costs on its own, the quality of the storage trays included is very low. Thin plastic that you unconsciously don't press too hard because you're afraid it will break. So 50-60 euros (90-30=60) is definitely not worth it for this particular production. Personally, I found it on sale and, together with a 20-euro coupon I had, I got it for 60 (which is the price I think it should have).
    2) The organization of the trays. I think the creators only paid attention to fitting everything in the box and not the storage order, resulting in me feeling like I have to empty the whole box every time I want to play. (Of course, this is just my personal feeling).
    3) Small detail. I would have liked it to include dividers so I could separate the cards, guardians, and sites of the base game from the expansions.
