There where times that I couldn't put it down or I was admiring the academic background of the author, the effort and the knowledge she put there, the very well executed references to Greek mythology and the depths of her writing.
And then there where times that I was suffering from info dumping, no plot, especially between the courts or after Peter left the story and I couldn't care less for the story.

It simply IS a dark ACADEMIA book with academic research in it.

Also I will not mention the absence of the characters relationship, and I don't mean the romantic part at all. This felt like a heavy academic book with the twist of magic.
