Motion Detection Technology 2.0, based on deep learning, is one of the key features of this model. It allows automatic categorization of recognized objects, with accurate identification of people and vehicles, significantly reducing false alarms caused by factors such as leaves or lights.

The HiLook DVR-204U-M1(STD)(S) supports a wide range of recording resolutions, including 8 MP, 5 MP, 3K, 4 MP, and 1080p, offering flexibility in choosing the desired level of detail for monitoring. It can handle video streams at 8 MP with 8 fps for channel 1, and lower resolutions for the remaining channels, ensuring clear and detailed recording.

Advanced video compression, such as H.265 Pro+, H.265 Pro, and H.265, allows saving storage space and bandwidth without compromising image quality. The DVR can record both video and audio, providing support for clear and detailed transmission thanks to G.711u audio compression.

This model supports integration with up to 6 IP cameras, or even 8 cameras in advanced IP mode, each with a resolution up to 8 MP. This flexibility makes it ideal for hybrid surveillance systems combining analog and IP cameras. Analog video input is provided via 4 BNC channels, compatible with HDTVI, AHD, HDCVI, and CVBS standards, allowing the use of various types of cameras.

The DVR features a SATA port supporting hard drives with a capacity of up to 10 TB, offering ample space for long-term recording storage. Additionally, there are two USB 2.0 ports available for quick backup and additional connectivity.

Regarding networking, the DVR is equipped with a 10/100 Mbps auto-adaptive RJ45 interface and supports up to 32 simultaneous connections. You can also connect the device to a Wi-Fi network via a Wi-Fi dongle plugged into the USB port, providing even more flexibility in configuring your surveillance network.
