Very good Modem-Router. It has quite a few positives and some negatives, which of course are not very important, but at least they bother me.
First of all, I should say that I use it in the Cyclades and specifically in Ios, with a Nova SIM, to distribute the internet to other routers from the same company with Mesh Wi-Fi, VPN and firewall, for the access of more than 30 people.
My network needs are about 700 GB every 11 days and, as I have observed, it has no problem handling them.
I have had it for almost 1 month
At first I had difficulty understanding why it took a very long time to connect, e.g. 40 minutes or even not at all, with the Nova SIM, while with Vodafone the connection was almost immediate. The automatic options do not support the Nova SIM, so the APN has to be changed. After I configured it, I never had any more problems with the internet: 80 Mbps upload and 60 Mbps download.
As for the mobile app, so that you can connect remotely via the internet, it has quite a few features. However, to have access to the VPN and some more advanced functions, you have to connect locally through the router's IP.
The VPN has some drawbacks, beyond the fact that you cannot control it remotely through the app. It supports only one VPN at a time. For example, if I set up a VPN client (Surfshark, NordVPN, etc.), I cannot set up ZeroTier VPN or another one, such as OpenVPN for remote access. This is not necessarily a big problem, but since I use quite a few TP-Link routers that support it, I was not particularly satisfied, as I need these features. If you enable the VPN, the whole network goes through it, but it gives you the option, if you want, to exclude specific devices.
Parental controls are terrible. It only gives you the ability to set the hours during which each device can connect to the internet and, if you want to block specific sites, you have to add them one by one, as it does not support website categories. Of course, you can use DDNS, such as Cloudflare, to restrict site categories, but that applies to the entire network.
You also have the ability to set a GB limit for each device or give it priority, change its icon or name, and finally cut off the internet or block it.
The Wi-Fi is very good, especially if you take advantage of Wi-Fi 6, and the antenna for the connection to the provider is quite strong.

It only gives you the ability to set the hours during which each device can connect to the internet and, if you want to block specific sites, you have to add them one by one, as it does not support website categories. Πολύ καλό Modem-Router. Έχει αρκετά θετικά και κάποια αρνητικά, τα οποία βέβαια δεν είναι πολύ σημαντικά, αλλά τουλάχιστον εμένα με ενοχλούν.
Αρχικά, να πω πως το χρησιμοποιώ στις Κυκλάδες και συγκεκριμένα στην Ίο, με SIM της Nova, για να διαμοιράζω το internet σε άλλα router της εταιρείας με Mesh Wi-Fi, VPN και firewall, για την πρόσβαση περισσότερων από 30 ατόμων.
Οι ανάγκες του δικτύου μου είναι περίπου 700 GB ανά 11 ημέρες και, όπως έχω παρατηρήσει, δεν έχει κανένα πρόβλημα να ανταποκριθεί.
Το έχω σχεδόν 1 μήνα
Στην αρχή δυσκολεύτηκα να καταλάβω γιατί αργούσε πάρα πολύ να συνδεθεί, π.χ. 40 λεπτά ή και καθόλου, με τη SIM της Nova, ενώ με Vodafone η σύνδεση ήταν σχεδόν άμεση. Οι αυτόματες επιλογές δεν υποστηρίζουν τη Nova SIM, οπότε θα πρέπει να αλλάξει το APN. Αφού το ρύθμισα, δεν ξαναείχα κανένα πρόβλημα με το internet: 80 Mbps upload και 60 Mbps download.
Όσον αφορά την εφαρμογή του κινητού, για να μπορείτε να συνδέεστε απομακρυσμένα μέσω internet, έχει αρκετές δυνατότητες. Ωστόσο, για να έχεις πρόσβαση στο VPN και σε μερικές πιο advanced λειτουργίες, πρέπει να συνδεθείς τοπικά μέσω της IP του router.
Το VPN έχει κάποια μειονεκτήματα, πέρα από το ότι δεν μπορείς να το ελέγξεις απομακρυσμένα μέσω της εφαρμογής. Υποστηρίζει μόνο ένα VPN τη φορά. Για παράδειγμα, αν βάλω VPN client (Surfshark, NordVPN κ.λπ.), δεν μπορώ να βάλω ZeroTier VPN ή κάποιο άλλο, όπως OpenVPN για απομακρισμένη πρόσβαση. Αυτό δεν είναι απαραίτητα μεγάλο πρόβλημα, αλλά επειδή χρησιμοποιώ αρκετά TP-Link router που το υποστηρίζουν, δεν με ικανοποίησε ιδιαίτερα, μιας και χρειάζομαι αυτές τις δυνατότητες. Εάν ενεργοποιήσεις το VPN, όλο το δίκτυο περνάει από αυτό, αλλά σου δίνει τη δυνατότητα, αν θέλεις, να εξαιρέσεις συγκεκριμένες συσκευές.
Ο γονικός έλεγχος είναι για κλάματα. Σου δίνει μόνο τη δυνατότητα να ορίσεις ποιες ώρες μπορεί η εκάστοτε συσκευή να συνδέεται στο internet και αν θέλεις να απαγορεύσεις συγκεκριμένα sites, πρέπει να τα προσθέσεις ένα-ένα, καθώς δεν υποστηρίζει κατηγορίες ιστοσελίδων. Βέβαια, μπορείς να χρησιμοποιήσεις DDNS, όπως το Cloudflare, για να περιορίσεις κατηγορίες sites, αλλά αυτό ισχύει για ολόκληρο το δίκτυο.
Έχεις επίσης τη δυνατότητα να βάλεις όριο GB σε κάθε συσκευή ή να της δώσεις προτεραιότητα, να αλλάξεις το εικονίδιο ή την ονομασία της και, τέλος, να κόψεις το internet ή να την μπλοκάρεις.
Το Wi-Fi είναι πολύ καλό, ειδικά αν εκμεταλλευτείς το Wi-Fi 6 και η κεραία για τη σύνδεση με τον πάροχο είναι αρκετά δυνατή.

Δουλεύει στην πένα με καταπληκτική εμβέλεια WiFi στο σπίτι. Προφανώς έχει σημασία πού θα τοποθετηθεί εντός του σπιτιού ώστε να πιάνει το καλύτερο δυνατό GSM σήμα. Κάνει pair με τα διάφορα προϊόντα της cudy (με ιδιαίτερα ανταγωνιστικές τιμές) για mesh δίκτυο πανεύκολα. Το app και το interface για τη διαχείριση είναι lite, minimal και εύκολο στη χρήση.
