The Neewer HD / UV lens filter is designed for camera lenses with a 77 mm filter thread. It reduces haze and ultraviolet rays, helping to improve contrast and prevent a blue cast in high-altitude and snowy photos. The optical glass protects the lens from dust, scratches, fingerprints and impacts.

The multilayer coating comprises 30 layers and is anti-static, oil-resistant, scratch-resistant and water-repellent. The filter offers light transmission of up to 99.8% and reflectance of less than 0.1%, while blocking ultraviolet rays from 300 to 410 nm. It reduces reflections and ghosting while preserving color performance. The aluminum-magnesium alloy frame has a matte black anodized finish and a screw-on mount.
