Specifications
Benman S1500 sealing silicone is a sealant based on water glass and glass fibres, designed for high-temperature applications. It is used to seal gaps and cracks in ceramic chimney flues, as well as in chimneys, stoves and fireplace grates. It is also suitable for repairing structural and technical components exposed to fire.
The glass fibres help ensure an airtight seal and prevent the material from shrinking or expanding. It is not recommended for joints that require flexibility, such as those in central heating and gas systems.
