The PEX is part of a water piping system with several advantages compared to metal pipe systems (copper, iron, lead) or rigid plastic pipes (PVC, CPVC, ABS). It is flexible, resistant to deposits and chlorine, does not corrode, and is installed faster than metal or rigid plastic pipes.
