The Mission Air MA ICE-20 heating cable prevents ice from forming outdoors, such as on pavements, entrances and parking areas. It can also be used to protect pipes, roofs and gutters. It has a constant-resistance design and delivers a fixed power output per metre, regardless of the ambient temperature. The power connection is located at one end of the cable.

It can be installed in concrete screed, asphalt layers or a base beneath paving blocks and stone slabs. A suitable thermostat is required. The cable must not be shortened, cut, allowed to touch itself or overlapped.
