The MARBLES Pupil’s Book includes a double-page Book Map and a set of six Welcome pages. Each of the eight main units of ten pages contains:

An introduction and practice of Topics and Vocabulary with video. Two pages presenting and practicing two language points. A Phonics page presenting and practicing an important sound through a song and video. A Values page with a message related to the unit’s theme, developing aspects of Learning for Life, such as Global Education or social and emotional learning (SEL).

Numbered units: These include an engaging Our World page with real content and video related to the unit’s theme, featuring a message that develops aspects of Global Education and social and emotional learning (SEL). There is also a Listening and Speaking Skills page, with real-world environments, illustrations, and a role-play with visual support.

Even-numbered units: These include a CLIL material page related to the unit’s theme. An episodic story of Whatsit and friends! with animated video is also included. An Imagine, Create and Play page with activities that promote imagination, creativity, and collaboration as students create their unit project and play. A Review page for consolidation and self-assessment.

At the back of the book are included: A Search and Favorites activity that develops fine motor skills and creates an additional learning file. A colorful Illustrated Dictionary. A Language Reference section with language charts for each unit in the Helbling e-zone kids e-book+ Online Practice Helbling Media App Audio Video.
