Sleeping bags with a comfort temperature range between 2°C and 12°C are recommended for use in Spring and Summer (2 seasons).

It plays an important role, depending on the intended use of the sleeping bag. Ideally, for hiking, trekking, or mountaineering, a sleeping bag weighing less than 1.5 kg is recommended to facilitate transport and reduce the load on the backpack.

On the other hand, sleeping bags with greater weight are preferred for camping or stationary use.

It not only pertains to the ability to connect with another sleeping bag but also to ease of use. The zipper on the right side as you lie down is more convenient for left-handed users.

Down

It offers warmth, high breathability, and minimal weight. Sleeping bags with down take up little space as they are highly compressible. However, if they get wet, they lose their properties and are more expensive compared to synthetic ones.

The warmth of a sleeping bag is determined by the fill density inside it, which is measured in grams per square meter (GSM).
