The aim of this publication is to cover a series of courses related to the fundamentals of signal and system analysis. It can also be used for a brief review of transformation methods as applied to linear systems.

The fields analyzed include, among others: The general concepts concerning the analysis of signals and systems; the methods of mathematical description of continuous and discrete-time signals; the mathematical description of systems; the impulse response and convolution as components in the systematic analysis of the response of linear, time-invariant systems.

Furthermore, it includes the transformation methods (Fourier transform, Laplace transform, z-transform) and their applications; the use of CTFT and DTFT in frequency response analysis; the design of some of the most common types of practical analog and digital filters.
