Maximally Modular

Numeric keypad and media base with hot-swappable capability

For maximum comfort and customization, the Dark Mount numeric keypad can be placed either on the left or right side of the keyboard – or turned off completely when space is limited, for example at a LAN party. A media dock with dedicated media keys and a display always gives you full control over video and audio settings and can be positioned in 2 places, either left or right. Even the palm rest is divided, and the section under the numeric keypad can also be placed on either side.

You can fully customize 8 dedicated 140x140 screen keys. Launch your favorite game, start streaming live, or assign custom macros to the keys and take advantage of the preset icon library or upload your own image. With support for JPG, PNG, and other common image formats, the Dark Mount fits perfectly with your favorite loadout.

QUIET MECHANICAL! SILENT SWITCHES

Factory lubricated

Every keystroke is fast and accurate, yet silent. Our silent, black tactile switches are pre-lubricated to reduce friction and noise. After careful examination and testing of different materials, we chose a PA66 nylon housing for a sound profile with reduced tactile feel and a POM stem for smooth actuations with a quick tactile response, to provide the best possible typing experience. 

We went the extra mile by lubricating the stabilizers located under each large key, such as the Space and Enter keys, which can often make an unpleasant rattling noise if not properly treated, and we added padding at the contact point between the stabilizer and the printed circuit board for extra sound insulation. Customization enthusiasts will appreciate the fact that each switch can be hot-swapped with other 5-pin MX type switches.

RULE OF 3

Triple moisture layer

A total of 3 sound-absorbing layers ensure that the Dark Mount base lives up to the motto "be quiet!". One foam layer is placed between the switches and the printed circuit board, another is located beneath the printed circuit board, and the bottom housing is filled with a silicone lining. Any potential echo noises are immediately eliminated. The spacebar received an additional damping layer, with foam inside the keycap body to reduce echo effects.

The dark base features a black brushed aluminum plate for stylish looks and increased durability. The double-shot PBT keycaps are the choice of champions due to their resistance to wear. This keyboard is not only built to last, but also remains comfortable to use even after many hours of gaming, thanks to its ergonomic capability. The stackable, magnetic feet support 3 different angles: 3°, 6°, or 9°, and the two-piece magnetic palm rest with padding snaps onto the keyboard for a more natural hand position. If you take your dark base on the go, the 2-meter USB-A-to-C cable and the numeric keypad can easily be detached from the keyboard.

The customization options of the Dark Mount are maximized with per-key ARGB lighting. Highlight important keys or create stunning effects. The semi-transparent legends of the double-shot keycaps shine brightly thanks to an arched diffuser on each switch. A light bar surrounding the keyboard creates atmospheric ARGB LED lighting on your desk that matches any RGB gaming PC, perfectly aligned with your personal style.

GAIN FULL CONTROL

With the be quiet! IO Center, you can have full control of the Dark Mount keyboard and other be quiet! devices such as mice. It allows you to configure complex per-key lighting effects, remap keys, and set up macros in different profiles. You can also customize the Display Keys and the Media Dock. The software uses very few system resources when active, and a web-based application is also available.
