I got it as a gift for my wife because of the design and it turned out to be an excellent phone. Having previously owned the 11, the Air also has quite good battery life and the photos have iPhone quality (with only the lack of zoom) and the screen is excellent. If you like it, don't be afraid of the reviews saying it's not as good as others.

Lightweight, convenient size, fast, nice screen, fairly good camera, average sound, I would like the battery to last longer. For someone who uses it a lot during the day, the purchase of the iPhone Air MagSafe battery pack is useful. I intend to keep it for a long time without changing it.

Before, I had the 16 Pro Max as my main phone.
In terms of speed, I didn't notice a difference in use despite the extra 4+ GB of RAM, the screen is slightly brighter, cameras are top especially the front one. It loses out in night video.
Now the big issue. BATTERY
The device with normal use was fine the first week, then the problems started.
That is: with the same use, it lasted 4 hours at most. Terrible.
To sum up, that's what I had for about 3 months along with service where Apple didn't recognize anything.
In the end, I got tired and switched to Samsung S25 Ultra and found the smile I lost with the Air.
In summary, if it hadn't had an issue I wouldn't have given it up because it's both a jewel and a weapon, but at this price with such problems which Apple doesn't acknowledge, for me it's a deal breaker.
If you don't get an issue, it's amazing. Also, it's mainly for professionals due to specs and camera concessions.
If you want something more complete for this money, I think the 16 Pro Max is a better choice.
So it's up to you to risk buying something pioneering. Unfortunately, I played and lost.
On the service issue, let me say I took it so many times that I did a factory reset on the device 7 times in total.
As an Apple fan, I was disappointed with the company's response.
Finally, it's important to say that I spoke with other users and no one has the same issue as me. I probably got a defective one but again, the company DID NOT acknowledge it.

Πριν ειχα το 16 pro max σαν βασικο τηλεφωνο.
Στο θεμα ταχυτητας δεν καταλαβα διαφορα στην χρηση παρα τα 4+ ram παρπανω, οθονη ελαφρως φωτεινότερη, καμερες top ειδικα η μπροστα. Χανει στο night video.
Τωρα το μεγαλο θεμα. ΜΠΑΤΑΡΙΑ
Η συσκευη μου με νορμαλ χρηση ηταν μια χαρα την πρωτη βδομαδα μετα ειχαμε τα προβλήματα.
Δλδ : με την ιδια χρηση με εβγαζε 4 ωρες το πολυ. χαλια μαυρα.
Για να κανω μια σουμα αυτα ειχα για κανα 3μηνο μαζι με service οπου η apple δεν αναγνώριζε τπτ.
Εν τελη με κουρασε και πηγα σε samsung s25 ultra και βρηκα το χαμογελο που εχασα με το air.
Στην σουμα αν δεν έβγαζε θεμα δεν θα το έδινα γιατι ειναι και κοσμημα και οπλο αλλα σε αθτα τα χρηματα με τετοια προβληματα τα οποια δεν αναγνωρίζει η μαμα apple για εμανα ειναι deal breaker.
Αν δεν σας βγαλει θεμα τρομερό. Επισης αναφερετε κυρίως σε επαγγελματίες λογο specs και παραχωρησεων στην καμερα.
Αν θελετε κατι πιο ολοκληρωμένο σε αυτα τα χρηματα θεωρω πως το 16 pro max ειναι καλυτερη επιλογη.
Οποτε ειναι στο χερι σας να ρισκάρετε να αγοράσετε κατι πρωτοποριακό. Εγω δυστυχώς επαιξα και εχασα
Στο θεμα service να πω οτι το πηγα τοσες φορες που εκανα συνολικά την συσκευη factory reset 7 φορες.
Σαν apple fun ξενέρωσα με την αντιμετώπιση της εταιρείας.
Τελικο σημαντικό ειναι πως μιλησα και με αλλους χρηστες και κανεις δεν εχει το ιδιο θεμα με εμενα. Μαλλον εγω έπεσα σε ελαττωματικό αλλα ξανα λεω ΔΕΝ το αναγνώριζε η εταιρία.

Return to Apple after years and the reason was purely the appearance of the phone, obviously the phone is brand new so you won't easily find negatives, however I want to clarify for users who care about the camera and battery, the battery easily lasts a day unless you use it for gaming and it never leaves your hand, when I got it the first day I didn't expect it to last so long as from what I had read I was predisposed for a bad battery. Now regarding the camera, if you are the average person who just takes photos and videos for social media it is excellent, the night mode is quite indifferent though. (The phone is also used as a second camera for videos on YouTube). Its reputation has been unfairly butchered
Επιστροφή σε apple μετά από χρόνια και ο λόγος καθαρά ήταν η εμφάνιση του κινητού, προφανώς το κινητό είναι ολοκαίνουργιο οπότε αρνητικά δεν θα βρεις ευκολα , ωστόσο θέλω να ξεκαθαρίσω για τους χρήστες που τους ενδιαφέρει η κάμερα και η μπαταρία, η μπαταρία βγάζει άνετα μια ημέρα εκτός και αν το χρησιμοποιείς για γκειμινγκ και δεν φεύγει από το χέρι σου, όταν το πήρα την πρώτη μέρα δεν το περίμενα ότι θα μου βγάλει τόσο καθώς από αυτά που είχα διαβάσει ήμουν προϊδεάσμενος για κακη μπαταρία. Τώρα ως αναφορά την κάμερα, αν είσαι ο μέσος άνθρωπος που απλά τραβάς φωτό και βίντεο για σοσιαλ είναι άριστη , η βραδινή αρκετά αδιάφορη ωστόσο.( Το κινητό χρησιμοποιείται και ως δεύτερη κάμερα για βίντεο στο YouTube). So, here’s the deal: the phone is Premium and you realize it immediately as soon as you hold it, after a little while with it the 15pro felt incredibly heavy and thick to me.
Battery: It easily gives 6 hours on screen (and exceeds them) and that’s what matters, it translates to a whole day, now if you want 10 to 11 hours on screen clearly it’s not for you… Nevertheless, it charges very quickly.
Camera: ok it doesn’t have the extras of the pro… but 90% of average users never use the crazy settings for a damn photo, come on. We’re buying a smartphone, not a camera to broadcast worldwide. In a simple photo between 15pro and Air with automatic settings, the Air is ahead.
Processor is out of this world, I used to say the 15pro was blazing fast, well this is even faster than blazing… connectivity etc. not worth mentioning, everything is improved and fast. NO LAG
Sound: At medium volume the sound is clearer, at full volume it clearly loses out. The sound in the earpiece for calls is no problem.
If you want something different, this is what you should get, if you want something specialized with cameras etc. go for the (ugly) 17pro/max… simple as that. Either way, you’re buying Apple, you’re buying a money-back guarantee. For example, the 15 pro after 2 years and 86% battery health was sold for 750 euros… NO other would fetch that much… So the price difference for buying the Air (especially if you have VAT exemption) is laughable, at the level of a cheap Xiaomi…
Bought in black, it looks more premium than the white shades of the others. Paired with a Spigen case and it looks wonderful, while remaining slim.
Λοιπόν έχουμε και λέμε : το κινητό είναι Premium και το καταλαβαίνεις αμέσως με το που θα το πιάσεις, μετά από λίγη ώρα μαζί του το 15pro μου φάνηκε απίστευτα βαρύ και χοντρό.
Μπαταρία : Βγάζει άνετα 6 ώρες on screen (και τις ξεπερνά) και αυτό είναι το ζητούμενο, μεταφράζεται σε ολόκληρη μέρα, ε τώρα αν θέλετε 10 με 11 ώρες on screen ξεκάθαρα δεν κάνει.… Παρ’ όλα αυτά φορτίζει ταχύτατα.
Κάμερα : οκ δεν έχει τα επιπλέον των pro… αλλά το 90% του μέσου χρήστη ουδέποτε χρησιμοποιεί τις τρελές ρυθμίσεις για μια κολοφωτογραφία έλεος. Smartphone αγοράζουμε όχι κάμερα για να βγάλουμε ολόκληρη παγκόσμια μετάδοση. Σε απλή φωτογραφία ανάμεσα σε 15pro και Air με αυτόματη ρύθμιση το Air είναι μπροστά.
Επεξεργαστής διαστημικός, έλεγα ότι πήγαινε το 15pro σφαίρα, ε αυτό είναι ακόμη πιο γρήγορο από την σφαίρα… συνδεσιμότητα κ.α δεν αξίζει να πεις κάτι όλα βελτιωμένα και γρήγορα. ΧΩΡΙΣ LAG
Ήχος : Σε μέση ένταση ο ήχος είναι πιο καθαρός, σε πλήρη δυνατά εκεί χάνει ξεκάθαρα. Ο ήχος στο ακουστικό για τηλεφωνία κανένα πρόβλημα.
Αν θέλετε κάτι διαφορετικό αυτό είναι που πρέπει να έχετε, αν θέλετε εξειδικευμένο με κάμερες κ.α πάτε στο (ασχημάκι) 17pro/max… απλά τα πράγματα. Όπως και να έχει αγοράζεται Apple αγοράζεται εγγύηση επιστροφής χρημάτων. Παράδειγμα επ’ αυτού το 15 pro μετά από 2 χρόνια και 86% υγεία μπαταρίας πουλήθηκε για 750ευρώ… ΚΑΝΕΝΑ άλλο δεν θα έπιανε τόσο… Οπότε η αγορά-διαφορά για αγορά του Air (ειδικά αν έχεις απαλλαγή ΦΠΑ) είναι αστεία, επιπέδου φτηνού Xiaomi…
Αγοράστηκε σε μαύρο, δείχνει πιο premium από τις αποχρώσεις του λευκού των υπολοίπων. Παντρεύτηκε με Spigen θήκη και δείχνει υπέροχο, παραμένοντας λεπτό.
Coming from a 16 plus, I wanted a lightweight device because I was tired of the 200-gram weight. In the end, I gained a much better screen, a more powerful processor, minus 26 grams, and I made a sacrifice on the camera—not the front one, there I gained a much better camera—and on the second speaker, which does not provide the strong sound. It is a wonderful user experience in daily use; also, the battery lasts at the same rate as it did on the plus. Be very careful: if your network does not support eSIM, forget about this device!
Προερχόμενος από 16 plus ήθελα μια ελαφριά συσκευή γιατί με κούραζε το βάρος των 200 γραμμαρίων τελικά κέρδισα μια πολύ καλύτερη οθόνη έναν ισχυρότερο επεξεργαστή μείον 26 γραμμάρια και έκανα θυσία στην κάμερα όχι την μπροστινή εκεί κέρδισα μια πολύ καλύτερη κάμερα και στο δεύτερο ακουστικό που δε δίνει τον ισχυρό ήχο .!Είναι μια υπέροχη εμπειρία χρήσης σε καθημερινή χρήση επίσης η μπαταρία κρατάει με τον ίδιο ρυθμό που κρατούσε και στο πλας .!Μεγάλη προσοχή εάν το δίκτυο σας δεν υποστηρίζει eSIM ξεχάστε τη συσκευή αυτή .!
I bought it in Space Black, coming from the iPhone 16, and the feel in the hand is completely different. With a case it becomes a bit thicker, but with the bumper I use the feel essentially remains the same. In terms of appearance, for me, it is the best thing Apple has presented so far. On the negative side, I would mention the battery, which with normal use runs out quite quickly, as well as the absence of an ultrawide camera. The iPhone Air features a 48 MP Fusion camera system with a single lens. Because it doesn't have ultrawide, it doesn't support macro mode and can't take spatial photos. On the front there is an 18 MP camera with Center Stage support.

Με θήκη γίνεται λίγο πιο παχύ, όμως με το bumper που χρησιμοποιώ η αίσθηση παραμένει ουσιαστικά η ίδια. Εμφανισιακά, για μένα, είναι ό,τι καλύτερο έχει παρουσιάσει μέχρι σήμερα η Apple. Στα αρνητικά θα έβαζα την μπαταρία, η οποία με κανονική χρήση τελειώνει αρκετά γρήγορα, καθώς και την απουσία ultrawide κάμερας. Το iPhone Air διαθέτει σύστημα κάμερας 48 MP Fusion με έναν μόνο φακό. Επειδή δεν έχει ultrawide, δεν υποστηρίζει λειτουργία macro και δεν μπορεί να τραβήξει spatial photos. Στο μπροστινό μέρος υπάρχει κάμερα 18 MP με υποστήριξη Center Stage.

Coming from years of experience with PRO/PRO MAX, I have to say that here we have the most beautiful and refined phone I have ever held... I enjoy it every moment. Incredible screen, fantastic camera, generally everything is superb. Whatever negative things YouTubers say, I practically don't see them anywhere... its battery is a small miracle... it easily lasts a day with normal use (calls, GPS, social, Spotify). You will truly love it... bravo to Apple!

Excellent device and finally an iPhone that isn’t a brick. Especially in the space black color, it’s beautiful and a joy to hold.
Delightful screen, very fast in everything, and the battery is a technological marvel. With charging from 85%, it lasts until late at night with 20% remaining (everything enabled: location services, bluetooth, 5g, wifi, nfc, find my, 120hz). With the 26.1 beta it became even faster and the battery gives a 7h SoT with 85-20%. The only setting I’ve changed is disabling background app refresh for less important apps. I think that in future versions of iOS 26 the battery will approach that of the 17 pro. They’ve done an excellent job on consumption optimization and the new c1x modem helps a lot with telephony.
The main reason I went for the air was because the 12gb ram gives me the margin for the device to last five years in terms of speed (without constant app reloads) compared to the 8gb of the 17 base, and also because it gives me a bigger screen than the pro without carrying the bulk of the pro/pro max.
As for its weak points, none really affect me: for example, I take about 100 photos a year and I won’t really miss the very close-up (centimeters) or very distant (hundreds of meters) shots, also the speaker is good enough for occasional use and for music/calls I always use airpods. For 90% of users, I think there’s no issue with these two points.
Overall, I believe the device is excellent and as people get it in their hands from friends (because in stores it’s tethered and heavier) it will make crazy sales in 2026. Especially now that more and more reviews are coming out about its very good battery, because that’s what most people were worried about.
My only problem is that I’m not used to carrying devices without a case and right now there aren’t any very thin cases out yet (e.g. latercase, pitaka) that don’t "hide" the device. But this will be solved within October.
Εξαιρετική συσκευή και επιτέλους ένα iphone που δεν είναι τούβλο. Ειδικά στο space black χρωμα είναι πανέμορφο και χαιρεσαι να το κρατάς.
Απολαυστική οθόνη, πολύ γρήγορο σε όλα και η μπαταρία είναι ένα τεχνολογικό θαύμα. Με φόρτιση απο το 85% κρατάει ώς αργά το βράδυ με 20% υπόλοιπο (όλα ενεργοποιημένα: location services, bluetooth, 5g, wifi, nfc, find my, 120hz). Με το 26.1 beta έγινε ακόμα ταχύτερο και η μπαταρία δίνει ενα 7h SoT με 85-20%. Η μόνη ρύθμιση που έχω κάνει είναι να απενεργοποιήσω το background app refresh σε δευτερης σημαντικότητας εφαρμογές. Νομίζω οτι σε επόμενες εκδόσεις του ios 26 η μπαταρία θα πλησιάσει αυτήν του 17 pro. Έχουν κάνει εξαιρετική δουλειά στο consumption optimization και βοηθάει πολυ το νεό c1x modem για την τηλεφωνία.
Ο βασικός λόγος που πήγα στο air ήταν γιατί τα 12gb ram μου δίνουν το περιθώριο να αντέξει η συσκευή μια 5ετία από άποψη ταχύτητας (χωρίς συνεχείς επαναφορτώσεις των εφαρμογών) σε σχέση με τα 8gb του 17 base και απο την άλλη επειδή μου δίνει μια μεγαλύτερη οθόνη από αυτήν του pro χωρις να κουβαλάω μεγαλο όγκο όπως αυτόν του pro / pro max.
Όσον αφορά τα αδύναμα σημεία του, δεν με επηρεάζει κανένα ιδιαίτερα: βγάζω πχ 100 φωτο το χρονο και δεν θα μου λειψουν ιδιαίτερα οι πολύ κοντινές (εκατοστών) και πολύ μακρινές (εκατοντάδων μέτρων) φωτο, επίσης το ηχείο του για περιστασιακή χρήση είναι αρκετά καλό και για μουσική/ομιλια παντα airpods χρησιμοποιώ. Για το 90% των χρηστών νομίζω οτι δεν υπάρχει κανένα θέμα σε αυτά τα δύο σημεία.
Γενικά πιστεύω ότι η συσκευή είναι εξαιρετική και καθώς ο κόσμος θα την πιάνει στο χέρι του απο φίλους (γιατι στα καταστήματα είναι δεμένη και πιο βαριά) θα κάνει τρελές πωλήσεις μέσα στο 2026. Ειδικά τώρα που βγαίνουν όλο και περισσοτερες αναλύσεις για την πολύ καλή μπαταρία του γιατί οι περισσότεροι αυτό το σημείο φοβόταν.
Το μόνο μου πρόβλημα είναι οτι δεν έχω συνηθίσει να κουβαλάω συσκευές χωρις θήκη και αυτή τη στιγμή δεν έχουν βγει ακόμα πολύ λεπτές θήκες (px latercase, pitaka) που να μην "κρύβουν" τη συσκευή. Εντός Οκτωβρίου θα λυθεί όμως και αυτό το θέμα.
The phone is incredible, you forget you even have it on you, bright and very beautiful screen, amazing feel in the hand, I finally got rid of the brick 15 Pro Max that you couldn't fit anywhere. In terms of speed, it's blazing fast, and its battery from 6 in the morning when I take it off the charger until 11 at night, I have 20% battery left, just like I had with the 15 Pro Max. The phone may have a smaller battery, but it's the only one that uses a new type of battery.

If you don't get an issue, it's amazing. Also, it's mainly for professionals due to specs and camera concessions.
If you want something more complete for this money, I think the 16 Pro Max is a better choice.

Return to Apple after years and the reason was purely the appearance of the phone, obviously the phone is brand new so you won't easily find negatives, however I want to clarify for users who care about the camera and battery, the battery easily lasts a day unless you use it for gaming and it never leaves your hand, when I got it the first day I didn't expect it to last so long as from what I had read I was predisposed for a bad battery. Now regarding the camera, if you are the average person who just takes photos and videos for social media it is excellent, the night mode is quite indifferent though. So, here’s the deal: the phone is Premium and you realize it immediately as soon as you hold it, after a little while with it the 15pro felt incredibly heavy and thick to me.
Battery: It easily gives 6 hours on screen (and exceeds them) and that’s what matters, it translates to a whole day, now if you want 10 to 11 hours on screen clearly it’s not for you… Nevertheless, it charges very quickly.
Camera: ok it doesn’t have the extras of the pro… but 90% of average users never use the crazy settings for a damn photo, come on. We’re buying a smartphone, not a camera to broadcast worldwide. In a simple photo between 15pro and Air with automatic settings, the Air is ahead.
Processor is out of this world, I used to say the 15pro was blazing fast, well this is even faster than blazing… connectivity etc. not worth mentioning, everything is improved and fast. NO LAG
Sound: At medium volume the sound is clearer, at full volume it clearly loses out. The sound in the earpiece for calls is no problem.
If you want something different, this is what you should get, if you want something specialized with cameras etc. go for the (ugly) 17pro/max… simple as that. Either way, you’re buying Apple, you’re buying a money-back guarantee. For example, the 15 pro after 2 years and 86% battery health was sold for 750 euros… NO other would fetch that much… So the price difference for buying the Air (especially if you have VAT exemption) is laughable, at the level of a cheap Xiaomi…
Bought in black, it looks more premium than the white shades of the others. Paired with a Spigen case and it looks wonderful, while remaining slim.
Λοιπόν έχουμε και λέμε : το κινητό είναι Premium και το καταλαβαίνεις αμέσως με το που θα το πιάσεις, μετά από λίγη ώρα μαζί του το 15pro μου φάνηκε απίστευτα βαρύ και χοντρό.
Μπαταρία : Βγάζει άνετα 6 ώρες on screen (και τις ξεπερνά) και αυτό είναι το ζητούμενο, μεταφράζεται σε ολόκληρη μέρα, ε τώρα αν θέλετε 10 με 11 ώρες on screen ξεκάθαρα δεν κάνει.… Παρ’ όλα αυτά φορτίζει ταχύτατα.
Κάμερα : οκ δεν έχει τα επιπλέον των pro… αλλά το 90% του μέσου χρήστη ουδέποτε χρησιμοποιεί τις τρελές ρυθμίσεις για μια κολοφωτογραφία έλεος. Smartphone αγοράζουμε όχι κάμερα για να βγάλουμε ολόκληρη παγκόσμια μετάδοση. Σε απλή φωτογραφία ανάμεσα σε 15pro και Air με αυτόματη ρύθμιση το Air είναι μπροστά.

Αν θέλετε κάτι διαφορετικό αυτό είναι που πρέπει να έχετε, αν θέλετε εξειδικευμένο με κάμερες κ.α πάτε στο (ασχημάκι) 17pro/max… απλά τα πράγματα. Όπως και να έχει αγοράζεται Apple αγοράζεται εγγύηση επιστροφής χρημάτων. Παράδειγμα επ’ αυτού το 15 pro μετά από 2 χρόνια και 86% υγεία μπαταρίας πουλήθηκε για 750ευρώ… ΚΑΝΕΝΑ άλλο δεν θα έπιανε τόσο… Οπότε η αγορά-διαφορά για αγορά του Air (ειδικά αν έχεις απαλλαγή ΦΠΑ) είναι αστεία, επιπέδου φτηνού Xiaomi…
Αγοράστηκε σε μαύρο, δείχνει πιο premium από τις αποχρώσεις του λευκού των υπολοίπων. Παντρεύτηκε με Spigen θήκη και δείχνει υπέροχο, παραμένοντας λεπτό.
Coming from a 16 plus, I wanted a lightweight device because I was tired of the 200-gram weight. In the end, I gained a much better screen, a more powerful processor, minus 26 grams, and I made a sacrifice on the camera—not the front one, there I gained a much better camera—and on the second speaker, which does not provide the strong sound. It is a wonderful user experience in daily use; also, the battery lasts at the same rate as it did on the plus. Be very careful: if your network does not support eSIM, forget about this device!
Προερχόμενος από 16 plus ήθελα μια ελαφριά συσκευή γιατί με κούραζε το βάρος των 200 γραμμαρίων τελικά κέρδισα μια πολύ καλύτερη οθόνη έναν ισχυρότερο επεξεργαστή μείον 26 γραμμάρια και έκανα θυσία στην κάμερα όχι την μπροστινή εκεί κέρδισα μια πολύ καλύτερη κάμερα και στο δεύτερο ακουστικό που δε δίνει τον ισχυρό ήχο .!Είναι μια υπέροχη εμπειρία χρήσης σε καθημερινή χρήση επίσης η μπαταρία κρατάει με τον ίδιο ρυθμό που κρατούσε και στο πλας .!Μεγάλη προσοχή εάν το δίκτυο σας δεν υποστηρίζει eSIM ξεχάστε τη συσκευή αυτή .!
I bought it in Space Black, coming from the iPhone 16, and the feel in the hand is completely different. With a case it becomes a bit thicker, but with the bumper I use the feel essentially remains the same. In terms of appearance, for me, it is the best thing Apple has presented so far. On the negative side, I would mention the battery, which with normal use runs out quite quickly, as well as the absence of an ultrawide camera. The iPhone Air features a 48 MP Fusion camera system with a single lens. Because it doesn't have ultrawide, it doesn't support macro mode and can't take spatial photos. On the front there is an 18 MP camera with Center Stage support.

Στα αρνητικά θα έβαζα την μπαταρία, η οποία με κανονική χρήση τελειώνει αρκετά γρήγορα, καθώς και την απουσία ultrawide κάμερας. Το iPhone Air διαθέτει σύστημα κάμερας 48 MP Fusion με έναν μόνο φακό. Excellent device and finally an iPhone that isn’t a brick. Especially in the space black color, it’s beautiful and a joy to hold.
Delightful screen, very fast in everything, and the battery is a technological marvel. With charging from 85%, it lasts until late at night with 20% remaining (everything enabled: location services, bluetooth, 5g, wifi, nfc, find my, 120hz). With the 26.1 beta it became even faster and the battery gives a 7h SoT with 85-20%. The only setting I’ve changed is disabling background app refresh for less important apps. I think that in future versions of iOS 26 the battery will approach that of the 17 pro. They’ve done an excellent job on consumption optimization and the new c1x modem helps a lot with telephony.
The main reason I went for the air was because the 12gb ram gives me the margin for the device to last five years in terms of speed (without constant app reloads) compared to the 8gb of the 17 base, and also because it gives me a bigger screen than the pro without carrying the bulk of the pro/pro max.
As for its weak points, none really affect me: for example, I take about 100 photos a year and I won’t really miss the very close-up (centimeters) or very distant (hundreds of meters) shots, also the speaker is good enough for occasional use and for music/calls I always use airpods. For 90% of users, I think there’s no issue with these two points.
Overall, I believe the device is excellent and as people get it in their hands from friends (because in stores it’s tethered and heavier) it will make crazy sales in 2026. Especially now that more and more reviews are coming out about its very good battery, because that’s what most people were worried about.
My only problem is that I’m not used to carrying devices without a case and right now there aren’t any very thin cases out yet (e.g. latercase, pitaka) that don’t "hide" the device. But this will be solved within October.
Εξαιρετική συσκευή και επιτέλους ένα iphone που δεν είναι τούβλο. Ειδικά στο space black χρωμα είναι πανέμορφο και χαιρεσαι να το κρατάς.
Απολαυστική οθόνη, πολύ γρήγορο σε όλα και η μπαταρία είναι ένα τεχνολογικό θαύμα. Με φόρτιση απο το 85% κρατάει ώς αργά το βράδυ με 20% υπόλοιπο (όλα ενεργοποιημένα: location services, bluetooth, 5g, wifi, nfc, find my, 120hz). Με το 26.1 beta έγινε ακόμα ταχύτερο και η μπαταρία δίνει ενα 7h SoT με 85-20%. Η μόνη ρύθμιση που έχω κάνει είναι να απενεργοποιήσω το background app refresh σε δευτερης σημαντικότητας εφαρμογές. Νομίζω οτι σε επόμενες εκδόσεις του ios 26 η μπαταρία θα πλησιάσει αυτήν του 17 pro. Έχουν κάνει εξαιρετική δουλειά στο consumption optimization και βοηθάει πολυ το νεό c1x modem για την τηλεφωνία.
Ο βασικός λόγος που πήγα στο air ήταν γιατί τα 12gb ram μου δίνουν το περιθώριο να αντέξει η συσκευή μια 5ετία από άποψη ταχύτητας (χωρίς συνεχείς επαναφορτώσεις των εφαρμογών) σε σχέση με τα 8gb του 17 base και απο την άλλη επειδή μου δίνει μια μεγαλύτερη οθόνη από αυτήν του pro χωρις να κουβαλάω μεγαλο όγκο όπως αυτόν του pro / pro max.
Όσον αφορά τα αδύναμα σημεία του, δεν με επηρεάζει κανένα ιδιαίτερα: βγάζω πχ 100 φωτο το χρονο και δεν θα μου λειψουν ιδιαίτερα οι πολύ κοντινές (εκατοστών) και πολύ μακρινές (εκατοντάδων μέτρων) φωτο, επίσης το ηχείο του για περιστασιακή χρήση είναι αρκετά καλό και για μουσική/ομιλια παντα airpods χρησιμοποιώ. Για το 90% των χρηστών νομίζω οτι δεν υπάρχει κανένα θέμα σε αυτά τα δύο σημεία.
Γενικά πιστεύω ότι η συσκευή είναι εξαιρετική και καθώς ο κόσμος θα την πιάνει στο χέρι του απο φίλους (γιατι στα καταστήματα είναι δεμένη και πιο βαριά) θα κάνει τρελές πωλήσεις μέσα στο 2026. Ειδικά τώρα που βγαίνουν όλο και περισσοτερες αναλύσεις για την πολύ καλή μπαταρία του γιατί οι περισσότεροι αυτό το σημείο φοβόταν.
Το μόνο μου πρόβλημα είναι οτι δεν έχω συνηθίσει να κουβαλάω συσκευές χωρις θήκη και αυτή τη στιγμή δεν έχουν βγει ακόμα πολύ λεπτές θήκες (px latercase, pitaka) που να μην "κρύβουν" τη συσκευή. Εντός Οκτωβρίου θα λυθεί όμως και αυτό το θέμα.

I got it as a gift for my wife because of the design and it turned out to be an excellent phone. Having previously owned the 11, the Air also has quite good battery life and the photos have iPhone quality (with only the lack of zoom) and the screen is excellent. Before, I had the 16 Pro Max as my main phone.
In terms of speed, I didn't notice a difference in use despite the extra 4+ GB of RAM, the screen is slightly brighter, cameras are top especially the front one. It loses out in night video.
Now the big issue. BATTERY
The device with normal use was fine the first week, then the problems started.
That is: with the same use, it lasted 4 hours at most. Terrible.
To sum up, that's what I had for about 3 months along with service where Apple didn't recognize anything.
In the end, I got tired and switched to Samsung S25 Ultra and found the smile I lost with the Air.
In summary, if it hadn't had an issue I wouldn't have given it up because it's both a jewel and a weapon, but at this price with such problems which Apple doesn't acknowledge, for me it's a deal breaker.
If you don't get an issue, it's amazing. Also, it's mainly for professionals due to specs and camera concessions.
If you want something more complete for this money, I think the 16 Pro Max is a better choice.
So it's up to you to risk buying something pioneering. Unfortunately, I played and lost.
On the service issue, let me say I took it so many times that I did a factory reset on the device 7 times in total.
As an Apple fan, I was disappointed with the company's response.
Finally, it's important to say that I spoke with other users and no one has the same issue as me. I probably got a defective one but again, the company DID NOT acknowledge it.

Πριν ειχα το 16 pro max σαν βασικο τηλεφωνο.
Στο θεμα ταχυτητας δεν καταλαβα διαφορα στην χρηση παρα τα 4+ ram παρπανω, οθονη ελαφρως φωτεινότερη, καμερες top ειδικα η μπροστα. Χανει στο night video.
Τωρα το μεγαλο θεμα. ΜΠΑΤΑΡΙΑ
Η συσκευη μου με νορμαλ χρηση ηταν μια χαρα την πρωτη βδομαδα μετα ειχαμε τα προβλήματα.
Δλδ : με την ιδια χρηση με εβγαζε 4 ωρες το πολυ. χαλια μαυρα.
Για να κανω μια σουμα αυτα ειχα για κανα 3μηνο μαζι με service οπου η apple δεν αναγνώριζε τπτ.
Εν τελη με κουρασε και πηγα σε samsung s25 ultra και βρηκα το χαμογελο που εχασα με το air.
Στην σουμα αν δεν έβγαζε θεμα δεν θα το έδινα γιατι ειναι και κοσμημα και οπλο αλλα σε αθτα τα χρηματα με τετοια προβληματα τα οποια δεν αναγνωρίζει η μαμα apple για εμανα ειναι deal breaker.
Αν δεν σας βγαλει θεμα τρομερό. Επισης αναφερετε κυρίως σε επαγγελματίες λογο specs και παραχωρησεων στην καμερα.
Αν θελετε κατι πιο ολοκληρωμένο σε αυτα τα χρηματα θεωρω πως το 16 pro max ειναι καλυτερη επιλογη.
Οποτε ειναι στο χερι σας να ρισκάρετε να αγοράσετε κατι πρωτοποριακό. Εγω δυστυχώς επαιξα και εχασα
Στο θεμα service να πω οτι το πηγα τοσες φορες που εκανα συνολικά την συσκευη factory reset 7 φορες.
Σαν apple fun ξενέρωσα με την αντιμετώπιση της εταιρείας.
Τελικο σημαντικό ειναι πως μιλησα και με αλλους χρηστες και κανεις δεν εχει το ιδιο θεμα με εμενα. Μαλλον εγω έπεσα σε ελαττωματικό αλλα ξανα λεω ΔΕΝ το αναγνώριζε η εταιρία.
