I have been using it since October 2025. Coming from an iPhone 12mini. It is definitely an upgrade for me. Excellent (as always) build quality, very fast, trouble-free, reliable. The screen has excellent clarity, the speakers have a significant improvement in sound quality, the cameras are top-notch as always, both in photos and videos. The only thing that bothers me, but it's a matter of habit, is the change in the side button which traditionally had two positions for sound/silent. Now it does give you the ability to customize it as you want, but you have to get used to it because it's a button you press inwards. Not up-down. Two very positive changes are the type-C charging port (finally) and the improved battery life. I no longer need a charger at work. I get through my day and return home at night with 20% left. The price now is a problem. €940 (for the basic version) is way too much money. It's only worth it if you get it and won't bother with buying a new phone for a decade. However, given all its positives, I can't give it less than 5 stars. It's a top-tier phone.
Το χρησιμοποιώ από τον Οκτώβριο του 2025. Ερχόμενος από iPhone 12mini. Πρόκειται σαφέστατα για αναβάθμιση για εμένα. Εξαιρετική (όπως πάντα) ποιότητα κατασκευής, ταχύτατο, απροβλημάτιστο, αξιόπιστο. Η οθόνη έχει εξαιρετική ευκρίνεια, τα ηχεία φέρουν σημαντική βελτίωση στην ποιότητα ήχου, οι κάμερες κορυφαίες όπως πάντα, και σε φωτογραφίες και σε βίντεο. Το μόνο που με ενοχλεί αλλα είναι θέμα συνήθειας, είναι η αλλαγή στο πλαϊνό κουμπί που παραδοσιακά είχε δύο θέσεις για ήχο / σίγαση. Τώρα σου δίνει μεν τη δυνατότητα να το παραμετροποιήσεις όπως θες, αλλά πρέπει να το συνηθίσεις γιατί είναι κουμπί προς τα μέσα. Όχι πάνω-κάτω. Δύο πολύ θετικές αλλαγές είναι η type-C θύρα φόρτισης (επιτέλους) και η βελτιωμένη διάρκεια ζωής μπαταρίας. Πλέον δεν χρειάζομαι φορτιστή στη δουλειά. Βγάζω τη μέρα μου και επιστρέφω το βράδυ στο σπίτι με 20% ρέστα. Η τιμή τώρα είναι ένα πρόβλημα. 940€ (για την απλή έκδοση) είναι υπερβολικά πάρα πολλά χρήματα. Αξίζει μόνο αν το πάρεις και δεν θα ασχοληθείς ξανά με αγορά κινητού για μια δεκαετία. Ωστόσο δεδομένων όλων των θετικών που έχει, δεν μπορώ να βάλω λιγότερα από 5 αστέρια. Είναι κορυφαίο κινητό.
Coming from Android (realme 12 pro +), I can say that I have made a giant leap. It is pointless to compare the two smartphones, so I will share my experience with this iPhone, which I have had since 24/1/2026 and today is 26/4/2026. First of all, I can't skip mentioning its magical camera, Apple's ace. Apart from the main 48MP wide lens, this year's model also has 48MP on the ultra wide lens and 18MP with center stage and a larger sensor on the front camera for clear selfies. As far as the camera is concerned, I am more than covered, and in my opinion, no Samsung can match it. Now, in terms of speed, the phone is lightning fast and doesn't lag at all, no matter how many apps you have open in the background, and for light gaming, which is what I use it for, the graphics are incredible and can easily handle very heavy games.
Something that bothers me a little is the battery (after all, iPhones are not famous for their batteries). I charge it with an 80% limit and don't let it drop below 20%, and I need to charge it more than once a day. Maybe if I charged it to 100%, it would last a day or so, but I want to keep the battery health high (100% at 99 cycles). For €1000, I expected a better battery, but maybe iOS 26 is to blame, which is heavier than 18, so I partly justify it. The promotion 6.3 120Hz that all the pros had since the 13 finally made it to the basic model, and it is very smooth and bright. Good speakers, fast charging. Especially if you already have other Apple devices, you will be very happy due to compatibility. I wouldn't say it's a value for money phone, but I would easily say it's a value for money iPhone and definitely faster, better, and with better energy management than an iPhone 16 pro. If you are hesitating between the 16 pro and the 17, definitely go for the 17 with your eyes closed, and it's much cheaper too. I am fully satisfied, and definitely my next phone purchase will be Apple; you don't go back to Android after such a device!
Προερχόμενος από android (realme 12 pro +) μπορώ να πω ότι έχω κάνει γιγάντιο άλμα. Είναι ανούσιο να κάνω σύγκριση των δύο smartphone οπότε θα σας αναφέρω την εμπειρία μου με το παρόν iPhone που το έχω από τις 24/1/2026 και σήμερα είναι 26/4/2026. Αρχικά δεν γίνεται να παραλείψω αυτή τη μαγική του κάμερα, το ατού της Apple. Εκτός από την βασική 48MP ευρυγώνιο το φετινό μοντέλο έχει βάλει 48 MP και στον ultra wide φακό αλλά και 18 MP με center stage και μεγαλύτερο αισθητήρα στην μπροστά κάμερα για καθαρές σελφι. Από κάμερα είμαι παραπάνω από καλυμμένος και κανένα Samsung κατά την άποψη μου δεν το φτάνει. Τώρα από ταχύτητα το τηλέφωνο πάει σφαίρα και δεν κολλάει πουθενά όσες εφαρμογές και να έχεις ανοιχτές στο παρασκήνιο και για ελαφρό gaming που το χρησιμοποιώ τα γραφικά είναι ασύλληπτα και άνετα σηκώνουν πολύ βαριά παιχνίδια.
Κάτι που με τσιγκλιζει λίγο είναι η μπαταρία (άλλωστε δεν φημίζονται τα iPhone για την μπαταρία τους). Εγώ που το φορτίζω με όριο 80% και δεν το αφήνω να πάει κάτω από 20%, θέλω πάνω από μια φορά την μέρα φόρτιση. Ενδεχομένως αν το έφτανα έως 100% να άντεχε μια μέρα και κάτι αλλά θέλω να κρατήσω ψηλά την υγεία μπαταρίας (100% σε 99 κύκλους). Για 1000€ περίμενα καλύτερη μπαταρία, αλλά ίσως να φταίει και το iOS 26 το οποίο είναι πιο βαρύ από το 18 οπότε εν μέρει το δικαιολογώ. Η promotion 6.3 120Hz που είχαν όλα τα pro από το 13 και μετά επιτέλους μπήκε και στο βασικό μοντέλο και είναι πολύ ομαλή και φωτεινή. Ηχεία καλά, φόρτιση γρήγορη. Ειδικά αν έχετε ήδη άλλες Apple συσκευές θα βρείτε την χαρά σας λόγω συμβατότητας. Δεν θα έλεγα ότι είναι value for money κινητό, όμως θα έλεγα με μεγάλη άνεση ότι είναι value for money iPhone και σίγουρα πιο γρήγορο, πιο καλό και με καλύτερη διαχείριση ενέργειας από ένα iPhone 16 pro. Αν αμφιταλαντεύεστε ανάμεσα σε 16 pro και 17, σίγουρα το 17 με κλειστά μάτια και είναι και πολύ φτηνότερο. Είμαι πλήρως ικανοποιημένος και σίγουρα η επόμενη αγορά τηλεφώνου θα είναι apple, δεν γυρνάς σε android μετά από τέτοια συσκευαρα!

But I would like it to have a 5,000 mAh battery for greater autonomy, larger temporary memory 12GB RAM, the option for a version with 1TB storage space, and not to cost more than €999.

Αλλά θα ήθελα να είχε 5.000 mAh μπαταρία για μεγαλύτερη αυτονομία, μεγαλύτερη προσωρινή μνήμη 12GB RAM, να υπήρχε η επιλογή να έχει έκδοση με 1TB αποθηκευτικό χώρο και να μην κοστίζει πάνω από 999€.
For the first time, Apple gives the base "Pro" model features. I rate it 5/5 because, compared to previous models, it made a big leap and is worth the extra 100 euros it is available for. 120Hz (Thank you), 256GB starting point without raising the price compared to previous models, new horizontal selfie, same cameras, OLED screen where you can see everything even in sunlight, and many other features that make the experience very good. As I see it, there is no reason to go for Pro models unless you are interested in the following: Extra camera for zoom (a feature that, unless you are obsessed with landscape photography etc., you might not even miss), the new design, vapor chamber (so it doesn’t get hot in your hand during heavy use, e.g., video call is considered heavy), and battery capacity (only in the pro max, because the difference between the pro and the base does not justify the price gap). I will focus a bit on this and say that it is perhaps the only disadvantage of the phone. Naturally, no phone is perfect, but anything else (e.g., AI beta) seems minor to me. In 2026, we cannot be limited to batteries under 4000mAH, since they are lithium and giants like Apple/Samsung do not want to risk more. Chinese companies prove it is possible; there are phones with even 10,000mAH. Other than that, the phone can be rated as 8/10, a big leap and very good all around, dare to say value for money?
Για πρώτη φορά η apple δίνει στο base μοντέλο "Pro" χαρακτηριστικά. Του βάζω 5/5 γιατί συγκρίνοντας το με τα προηγούμενα μοντέλα, έκανε ένα μεγάλο άλμα κι αξίζει τα έξτρα 100 ευρώ που είναι διαθέσιμο. 120Hz (Thank you), 256GB αφετερία χωρίς να ανεβάσει την τιμή συγκριτικά με τα προηγούμενα μοντέλα, νέα οριζόντια selfie, κάμερες ίδιες, οθόνη OLED που μπροστά στον ήλιο βλέπεις τα πάντα, κι πολλά άλλα χαρακτηριστικά που κάνουν την εμπειρία πάρα πολύ καλή. Έτσι όπως το βλέπω, δεν έχεις λόγο να πας σε Pro μοντέλα παρά μόνο εάν σε ενδιαφέρουν τα εξής: Έξτρα κάμερα για zoom (χαρακτηριστικό που εάν δεν είσαι obsessed με την φωτογραφία τοπίων κλπ ίσως κι να μην σου λείψει), το νεο design, vapor chamber (για να μη ζεστένεται στο χέρι σε βαρία χρήση π.χ. βιντεοκλήση θεωρείται βαρία) και η χωριτητικότητα μπαταρίας (μόνο στο pro max, γιατί η διαφορά του pro με το base δεν δικαιολογούν την απόσταση χρημάτων). Σε αυτό θα σταθώ λίγο κι θα πω ότι είναι ίσως το μοναδικό μειωνέκτημα του κινητού, φύσικα κανένα κινητό δεν είναι τέλειο, αλλά οτιδήποτε άλλο (π.χ. ΑΙ beta) μου φαίνεται minor. Δεν γίνεται εν έτει 2026 να περιοριζόμαστε κάτω από 4000mAH μπαταρίες, μιας κι είναι λιθίου κι δεν θέλουν κολοσσοί όπως Apple/Samsung να ρισκάρουν για κάτι παραπάνω. Οι κινέζικες εταιρείες αποδεικνύουν ότι είναι εφικτό, έχουν βγει κινητά και με 10.000mAH. Κατά τα άλλα το κινήτο μπορεί να χαρακτηριστεί ως 8/10, μεγάλο άλμα κι πολύ καλό all around, dare to say value for money?
The best value for money iPhone of this year's series. The transition was from a 13 Pro which served me well for 4 whole years. A big selling point is the 256GB capacity as a base model, excellent battery and very fast. Kudos to Apple for supporting the non-pro models.
Το καλύτερο value for money iPhone της φετινής σειράς. Η μετάβαση έγινε από 13 Pro το οποίο με έβγαλε ασπροπρόσωπο για 4 ολόκληρα χρόνια. Μεγάλο selling point τα 256gb χωρητικότητας σαν base model, εξαιρετική μπαταρία και ταχύτατο. Μπράβο στην Apple που στηρίζει τα non-pro μοντέλα.
I received it today. Being a first-time owner of an Apple device, I am amazed by the quality, it's a real gem. Excellent screen, I obviously haven't had the chance to take many photos and videos yet, but the ones I did take left me speechless. Crystal clear video and spotless photos. The phone literally "flies", there are no lags at all. The screen size is also very convenient. Buy it without hesitation if you have the money.
Το παρέλαβα σήμερα. Όντας πρώτη φορά κάτοχος apple συσκευής, έχω πάθει πλάκα από την ποιότητα, πραγματικό κόσμημα. Εξαιρετική οθόνη, φωτογραφίες και βίντεο δεν πρόλαβα προφανώς να τραβήξω πολλά ακόμα, αλλά όσα έβγαλα με άφησαν με το στόμα ανοιχτό. Βίντεο κρύσταλλο και φωτογραφίες πεντακάθαρες. Το κινητό “πετάει“ κυριολεκτικά, δεν νιώθει από κολλήματα. Το μέγεθος της οθόνης επίσης βολεύει πολύ. Πάρτε το άφοβα εάν διαθέτετε τα χρήματα.
A sworn Samsung owner, I was given this as a gift because due to work I was complaining that I needed something fast, that wouldn't lag when connected to a car screen or when multitasking. They weren't wrong! It hasn't lagged for a second, the photos are perfect (which was also a concern of mine). I feel like it freezes when I let it ring for more than a few seconds, like it repeats the last note or something, but that's the only issue.
Also, it accepts the regular small SIM, it doesn't need an E-SIM as I saw mentioned!
ορκισμένη κατοχος Samsung, μου το εκαναν δωρο γιατι λογω δουλειας παραπονιόμουν πως χρειαζομαι κατι γρηγορο ,που να μην κολλαει οταν συνδεεται με οθονη αυτοκινητου ή οταν κανω Multitasking. δεν ειχαν αδικο! δεν εχει κολλησει λεπτο , οι φωτογραφιες αψογες (που το ειχα κι αυτο μια εγνοια). νιωθω οτι τρωει σκαλωμα οταν το αφηνω να χτυπα πανω απο καποια δευτερολεπτα, σαν να επαναλαμβανει την τελευταια νοτα ενα πραγμα,αλλα μονο αυτο.
επισης , δεχεται κανονικα την μικρουλα sim, δεν χρειαζεται E - sim οπως ειδα να αναφερεται!
First time in the Apple ecosystem coming from a Samsung Galaxy S25 FE. At first, I was completely lost compared to the Android ecosystem. I had a lot of difficulty customizing the device. The battery is good but very small compared to the competition. The camera is very good, with 2 lenses of 48MP and night photography at DSLR level.
The negatives for me are:
- You can't customize the menu the way you want like you can on Android.
- There is no app drawer (it just suits me personally) but that's subjective.
- It doesn't allow you to make calls on a 2G network but only asks for 4G or 5G. And this is where the laughs begin with Greece's non-existent networks, especially regarding 5G.
After 2 months of use, I finally sold it because I couldn't get used to the following:
You can't adjust it to your liking like an Android phone.
You can't transfer photos to an Android device, i.e. to a tablet.
Apps that require a subscription for access.
Small memory of 256GB at a particularly steep price.
Πρώτη φορά στο οικοσύστημα της apple προερχόμενος από Samsung galaxy s25 fe. Για αρχή εντελώς χαμένος σε σχέση με το οικοσύστημα του android. Είχα μεγάλη δυσκολία στην παραμετροποίηση της συσκευής. Μπαταρία καλη αλλα πολυ μικρη σε σχεση με τον ανταγωνισμο. Φωτογραφία πολυ καλη, με 2 φακούς των 48mp και νυχτερινή Φωτογραφία επιπέδου DSLR.
Στα αρνητικά για εμένα είναι:
- Δεν μπορείς να παραμετροποίησης το μενού έτσι όπως το θέλεις όπως γίνεται στα android.
- Δεν έχει συρτάρι εφαρμογών ( απλά με βολεύει προσωπικά) αλλά ειναι υποκειμενικό.
- Δεν σου δίνει την δυνατότητα για πραγματοποίηση κλήσεων σε δίκτυο 2G αλλά ζητάει μόνο δίκτυο 4G ή 5G. Και εδώ αρχίζουν τα γέλια με τα ανύπαρκτα δίκτυα της Ελλάδας, ειδικά ως προς το 5G.
Μετά από 2 μήνες χρήσης τελικά το πούλησα γιατι δεν κατάφερα να συνηθίσω τα εξής:
Δεν μπορείς να το φέρεις στα μέτρα σου όπως ένα κινητό android.
Δεν υπάρχει η δυνατότητα να μεταφέρεις φωτογραφίες σε συσκευή android δλδ σε ταμπλέτα.
Εφαρμογές που πρέπει να πληρώνεις συνδρομή για πρόσβαση.
Μικρή μνήμη 256GB σε ιδιαίτερα τσουχτερή τιμή.
I think it has everything a simple and even a slightly more demanding user would need from an Apple device: processor, bright screen, large enough, and two clearly improved cameras. The video, as always, is the best in its category. And of course, the selfie camera in all models is upgraded and with different functions. BUT: Coming from a previous device of the company, the fact that you can shoot raw files is the only thing that makes a difference for the better, but not enough to justify paying, for example, an extra 300 just for this. That's all!
Νομίζω πως έχει όλα όσα χρειάζεται ένας απλός και ίσως και λίγο πιο απαιτητικός χρήστης από συσκευή της Apple επεξεργαστής Φωτεινή οθόνη μεγάλη τόσο όσο και δύο σαφώς βελτιωμένες κάμερες το βίντεο όπως πάντα είναι το καλύτερο στην κατηγορία Και φυσικά η σελφι σε όλα τα μοντέλα είναι αναβαθμισμένη και με διαφορετικές λειτουργίες ΑΛΛΑ: Προερχόμενος από κάποια προηγούμενη συσκευή της εταιρείας προ το γεγονός ότι τραβάς raw αρχεία είναι το μόνο που κάνει τη διαφορά προς το καλύτερο αλλά όχι να δώσεις τα συν 300 πχ παραπάνω για προ μόνο για αυτό αυτά!
What can I say about this phone. I’ve had it for a month (coming from the iPhone 11). I am extremely satisfied, speed, fantastic camera (at night I took a picture of the Eiffel tower, the image was so clear!), the videos are also amazing! I charge it once a day. Very lightweight phone compared to the 11 I had. I haven’t regretted getting it for a moment!
Τι να πω γι’αυτό το κινητό. Το έχω ένα μήνα (προερχόμενη από το iPhone 11). Είμαι πάρα πολύ ευχαριστημένη, ταχύτητα, κάμερα φανταστική (τη νύχτα έβγαλα τον πύργο του Eiffel, ήταν τόσο καθαρή η εικόνα!), τα videos επίσης φοβερά! Το φορτίζω μια φορά τη μέρα. Πολύ ελαφρύ κινητό σε σχέση με το 11 που είχα. Δεν το μετάνιωσα ούτε στιγμή που το πήρα!
I had the iPhone 13 since it was released and I was absolutely satisfied, but it started not being enough for me to make my videos and I realized it was time, so I got the iPhone 17. I think it's a really nice upgrade. I've had it for 5 days now and what can I say? It's amazing, takes AWESOME PHOTOS, GREAT VIDEOS. The speed of the phone? The screen? It's simply an AMAZING PHONE. Ok, as always, we try to make the battery last as long as possible but iPhones will always lose a bit there... if I had the 16 I don't think I would notice a difference. But from the 13, yes, I notice the difference... if someone is going to buy a phone for 300-400€, they should try to save a bit more and get the 17..
Είχα το iPhone 13 από τότε που είχε βγει και ήμουν απόλυτα ικανοποιημένος, αλλά άρχισε να μην μου αρκεί ώστε να κάνω τα βίντεό μου και κατάλαβα πως έφτασε όμως η ώρα και πήρα το iPhone 17. Είναι μια πολύ ωραία αναβάθμιση πιστεύω. Το έχω πλέον 5 μέρες και τι να πω; Ότι πετάει, βγάζει ΦΩΤΟΓΡΑΦΙΑΡΕΣ, ΒΙΝΤΕΑΡΑ. Η ταχύτητα του κινητού; Η οθόνη; Είναι απλά ΚΙΝΗΤΑΡΑ. Οκ όπως πάντα προσπαθούμε να κάνουμε την μπαταρία να κρατήσει όσο περισσότερο γίνεται αλλά πάντα εκεί τα iPhone θα χάνουν λίγο… αν είχα το 16 δεν νόμιζα θα καταλάβαινα διαφορά. Αλλά από το 13 ναι, καταλαβαίνω την διαφορά… αν είναι κάποιος να πάρει ένα κινητό 300-400€ να προσπαθήσει να μαζέψει λίγο παραπάνω και να πάρει το 17…
Years only on Android. One day I said I would get an iPhone to see what is different. The phone is flawless in every aspect, there is nothing negative to point out. And of course now I understand what makes iPhones different from Androids. From now on, only iOS.
Χρόνια μόνο σε Android . Μια μέρα είπα θα πάρω iPhone για να δω τι διαφορετικό έχουν . Το κινητό είναι άψογο σε όλα του , δεν έχει κάτι αρνητικό να τονίσω . Και εννοείται τώρα καταλαβαίνω τι διαφορετικό έχουν τα IPhone από τα Android. Πλέον μόνο IOS.
Everything is fine! Functional as I expected. However, it requires an eSIM so it would be good to have arranged for that before you receive it, because the company made it difficult for me.
Μια χαρά όλα! Λειτουργικό όπως περίμενα. Χρειάζεται όμως eSIM οπότε καλό θα ήταν πριν το παραλάβετε να έχετε προχωρήσει με αυτό γιατί εμένα η εταιρεία με δυσκόλεψε.
I think it is heavier than other similar models.. the camera goes up to x10 and that's it, the battery is nothing special… otherwise, it is beautiful!!!!
Θεωρώ ότι είναι πιο βαρύ από τα άλλα αντίστοιχα μοντέλα .. η κάμερα πάει έως χ10 και τέλος η μπαταρία δεν είναι κάτι φοβερό … κατά τα άλλα είναι πανέμορφο !!!!
I come from an iPhone 13 and the difference really is huge, especially with the 120 Hz, amazing camera, lightning-fast phone. You do pay quite a bit, that's true, but it's worth it. As for the battery, time will tell, and specifically the black color is worth it

Ideal size, quite lightweight, very good battery especially when using WiFi, finally a 120hz screen. Clear sound, new selfie camera is very good.

I've had the phone in my hands for 3 weeks. From iPhone 13 to iPhone 17. The first thing you notice is the excellent quality and brightness of the screen with 120hz pro motion and 3000 nits. The photos and videos are also excellent, obviously the pro models will provide better quality photos, however for the average everyday user I think the iPhone 17 is almost perfect. The speed of the phone is, as expected, very good, all apps open instantly without any problem. The battery is also quite good, lasting 1 day (you start in the morning with 100% and finish at night around 12-1 with 20-30%), with fairly heavy use. The price of the phone is reasonable, considering the 256gb of storage. I also find the very thin bezels of the screen quite nice aesthetically. I recommend the phone to anyone who has an iPhone 14 or older, I think iPhone 16 and 15 users can wait another 1-2 years before upgrading. Of this year's models, I think it's ideal for someone who wants a GOOD phone without the extra pro features of the pro models, while last year the phone I personally would have chosen would have been the 16 pro due to the lack of a 120hz screen on the iPhone 16.

Από iPhone 13 στο iPhone 17. Το πρώτο που παρατηρεί κανείς είναι η εξαιρετικής ποιότητας και φωτεινότητας οθόνη με τα 120hz pro motion και τα 3000 nits. Οι φωτογραφίες και τα βίντεο επίσης εξαιρετικά, προφανώς τα pro μοντέλα θα παρέχουν καλύτερης ποιότητας φωτογραφίες, παρολαυτα για τον απλό καθημερινό χρήστη θεωρώ το iPhone 17 είναι σχεδόν τέλειο. Απο τα φετινά μοντέλα είναι νομίζω το ιδανικό για ένα άτομο που θέλει ένα ΚΑΛΟ κινητό χωρίς τα επιπλεον pro χαρακτηριστικά των pro μοντέλων, ενώ πέρυσι το κινητό το οποίο προσωπικά θα επέλεγα θα ήταν το 16 pro λόγω της έλλειψης 120hz οθόνης στο iPhone 16.

I just upgraded from the iPhone XR to the iPhone 17 and the difference is huge. The 6.3-inch OLED display with ProMotion 120Hz is incredibly brighter and smoother compared to the XR, and scrolling looks completely different. The 48MP cameras deliver clear photos day and night, something I couldn't get with the XR. The new A19 processor makes everything run instantly, without delays, and the battery lasts much longer.

I have been using it since October 2025. Coming from an iPhone 12mini. It is definitely an upgrade for me. Excellent (as always) build quality, very fast, trouble-free, reliable. The screen has excellent clarity, the speakers have a significant improvement in sound quality, the cameras are top-notch as always, both in photos and videos. The only thing that bothers me, but it's a matter of habit, is the change in the side button which traditionally had two positions for sound/silent. Now it does give you the ability to customize it as you want, but you have to get used to it because it's a button you press inwards. Not up-down. Two very positive changes are the type-C charging port (finally) and the improved battery life. I no longer need a charger at work. I get through my day and return home at night with 20% left. The price now is a problem. €940 (for the basic version) is way too much money. It's only worth it if you get it and won't bother with buying a new phone for a decade. However, given all its positives, I can't give it less than 5 stars. It's a top-tier phone.

Δύο πολύ θετικές αλλαγές είναι η type-C θύρα φόρτισης (επιτέλους) και η βελτιωμένη διάρκεια ζωής μπαταρίας. Πλέον δεν χρειάζομαι φορτιστή στη δουλειά. Βγάζω τη μέρα μου και επιστρέφω το βράδυ στο σπίτι με 20% ρέστα. Η τιμή τώρα είναι ένα πρόβλημα. 940€ (για την απλή έκδοση) είναι υπερβολικά πάρα πολλά χρήματα. Coming from Android (realme 12 pro +), I can say that I have made a giant leap. It is pointless to compare the two smartphones, so I will share my experience with this iPhone, which I have had since 24/1/2026 and today is 26/4/2026. First of all, I can't skip mentioning its magical camera, Apple's ace. Apart from the main 48MP wide lens, this year's model also has 48MP on the ultra wide lens and 18MP with center stage and a larger sensor on the front camera for clear selfies. As far as the camera is concerned, I am more than covered, and in my opinion, no Samsung can match it. Now, in terms of speed, the phone is lightning fast and doesn't lag at all, no matter how many apps you have open in the background, and for light gaming, which is what I use it for, the graphics are incredible and can easily handle very heavy games.
Something that bothers me a little is the battery (after all, iPhones are not famous for their batteries). I charge it with an 80% limit and don't let it drop below 20%, and I need to charge it more than once a day. Maybe if I charged it to 100%, it would last a day or so, but I want to keep the battery health high (100% at 99 cycles). For €1000, I expected a better battery, but maybe iOS 26 is to blame, which is heavier than 18, so I partly justify it. The promotion 6.3 120Hz that all the pros had since the 13 finally made it to the basic model, and it is very smooth and bright. Good speakers, fast charging. Especially if you already have other Apple devices, you will be very happy due to compatibility. I wouldn't say it's a value for money phone, but I would easily say it's a value for money iPhone and definitely faster, better, and with better energy management than an iPhone 16 pro. If you are hesitating between the 16 pro and the 17, definitely go for the 17 with your eyes closed, and it's much cheaper too. I am fully satisfied, and definitely my next phone purchase will be Apple; you don't go back to Android after such a device!
Προερχόμενος από android (realme 12 pro +) μπορώ να πω ότι έχω κάνει γιγάντιο άλμα. Είναι ανούσιο να κάνω σύγκριση των δύο smartphone οπότε θα σας αναφέρω την εμπειρία μου με το παρόν iPhone που το έχω από τις 24/1/2026 και σήμερα είναι 26/4/2026. Αρχικά δεν γίνεται να παραλείψω αυτή τη μαγική του κάμερα, το ατού της Apple. Εκτός από την βασική 48MP ευρυγώνιο το φετινό μοντέλο έχει βάλει 48 MP και στον ultra wide φακό αλλά και 18 MP με center stage και μεγαλύτερο αισθητήρα στην μπροστά κάμερα για καθαρές σελφι. Από κάμερα είμαι παραπάνω από καλυμμένος και κανένα Samsung κατά την άποψη μου δεν το φτάνει. Τώρα από ταχύτητα το τηλέφωνο πάει σφαίρα και δεν κολλάει πουθενά όσες εφαρμογές και να έχεις ανοιχτές στο παρασκήνιο και για ελαφρό gaming που το χρησιμοποιώ τα γραφικά είναι ασύλληπτα και άνετα σηκώνουν πολύ βαριά παιχνίδια.
Κάτι που με τσιγκλιζει λίγο είναι η μπαταρία (άλλωστε δεν φημίζονται τα iPhone για την μπαταρία τους). Εγώ που το φορτίζω με όριο 80% και δεν το αφήνω να πάει κάτω από 20%, θέλω πάνω από μια φορά την μέρα φόρτιση. Ενδεχομένως αν το έφτανα έως 100% να άντεχε μια μέρα και κάτι αλλά θέλω να κρατήσω ψηλά την υγεία μπαταρίας (100% σε 99 κύκλους). Για 1000€ περίμενα καλύτερη μπαταρία, αλλά ίσως να φταίει και το iOS 26 το οποίο είναι πιο βαρύ από το 18 οπότε εν μέρει το δικαιολογώ. Η promotion 6.3 120Hz που είχαν όλα τα pro από το 13 και μετά επιτέλους μπήκε και στο βασικό μοντέλο και είναι πολύ ομαλή και φωτεινή. Ηχεία καλά, φόρτιση γρήγορη. Ειδικά αν έχετε ήδη άλλες Apple συσκευές θα βρείτε την χαρά σας λόγω συμβατότητας. Δεν θα έλεγα ότι είναι value for money κινητό, όμως θα έλεγα με μεγάλη άνεση ότι είναι value for money iPhone και σίγουρα πιο γρήγορο, πιο καλό και με καλύτερη διαχείριση ενέργειας από ένα iPhone 16 pro. Αν αμφιταλαντεύεστε ανάμεσα σε 16 pro και 17, σίγουρα το 17 με κλειστά μάτια και είναι και πολύ φτηνότερο. Είμαι πλήρως ικανοποιημένος και σίγουρα η επόμενη αγορά τηλεφώνου θα είναι apple, δεν γυρνάς σε android μετά από τέτοια συσκευαρα!

For the first time, Apple gives the base "Pro" model features. I rate it 5/5 because, compared to previous models, it made a big leap and is worth the extra 100 euros it is available for. 120Hz (Thank you), 256GB starting point without raising the price compared to previous models, new horizontal selfie, same cameras, OLED screen where you can see everything even in sunlight, and many other features that make the experience very good. I will focus a bit on this and say that it is perhaps the only disadvantage of the phone. Naturally, no phone is perfect, but anything else (e.g., AI beta) seems minor to me. In 2026, we cannot be limited to batteries under 4000mAH, since they are lithium and giants like Apple/Samsung do not want to risk more. Chinese companies prove it is possible; there are phones with even 10,000mAH. Other than that, the phone can be rated as 8/10, a big leap and very good all around, dare to say value for money?

Του βάζω 5/5 γιατί συγκρίνοντας το με τα προηγούμενα μοντέλα, έκανε ένα μεγάλο άλμα κι αξίζει τα έξτρα 100 ευρώ που είναι διαθέσιμο. 120Hz (Thank you), 256GB αφετερία χωρίς να ανεβάσει την τιμή συγκριτικά με τα προηγούμενα μοντέλα, νέα οριζόντια selfie, κάμερες ίδιες, οθόνη OLED που μπροστά στον ήλιο βλέπεις τα πάντα, κι πολλά άλλα χαρακτηριστικά που κάνουν την εμπειρία πάρα πολύ καλή. Έτσι όπως το βλέπω, δεν έχεις λόγο να πας σε Pro μοντέλα παρά μόνο εάν σε ενδιαφέρουν τα εξής: Έξτρα κάμερα για zoom (χαρακτηριστικό που εάν δεν είσαι obsessed με την φωτογραφία τοπίων κλπ ίσως κι να μην σου λείψει), το νεο design, vapor chamber (για να μη ζεστένεται στο χέρι σε βαρία χρήση π.χ. βιντεοκλήση θεωρείται βαρία) και η χωριτητικότητα μπαταρίας (μόνο στο pro max, γιατί η διαφορά του pro με το base δεν δικαιολογούν την απόσταση χρημάτων). Σε αυτό θα σταθώ λίγο κι θα πω ότι είναι ίσως το μοναδικό μειωνέκτημα του κινητού, φύσικα κανένα κινητό δεν είναι τέλειο, αλλά οτιδήποτε άλλο (π.χ. ΑΙ beta) μου φαίνεται minor. Δεν γίνεται εν έτει 2026 να περιοριζόμαστε κάτω από 4000mAH μπαταρίες, μιας κι είναι λιθίου κι δεν θέλουν κολοσσοί όπως Apple/Samsung να ρισκάρουν για κάτι παραπάνω. Οι κινέζικες εταιρείες αποδεικνύουν ότι είναι εφικτό, έχουν βγει κινητά και με 10.000mAH. First of all, I can't skip mentioning its magical camera, Apple's ace. Apart from the main 48MP wide lens, this year's model also has 48MP on the ultra wide lens and 18MP with center stage and a larger sensor on the front camera for clear selfies. As far as the camera is concerned, I am more than covered, and in my opinion, no Samsung can match it. Now, in terms of speed, the phone is lightning fast and doesn't lag at all, no matter how many apps you have open in the background, and for light gaming, which is what I use it for, the graphics are incredible and can easily handle very heavy games.
Something that bothers me a little is the battery (after all, iPhones are not famous for their batteries). I charge it with an 80% limit and don't let it drop below 20%, and I need to charge it more than once a day. Maybe if I charged it to 100%, it would last a day or so, but I want to keep the battery health high (100% at 99 cycles). For €1000, I expected a better battery, but maybe iOS 26 is to blame, which is heavier than 18, so I partly justify it. The promotion 6.3 120Hz that all the pros had since the 13 finally made it to the basic model, and it is very smooth and bright. Good speakers, fast charging. Especially if you already have other Apple devices, you will be very happy due to compatibility. I wouldn't say it's a value for money phone, but I would easily say it's a value for money iPhone and definitely faster, better, and with better energy management than an iPhone 16 pro. If you are hesitating between the 16 pro and the 17, definitely go for the 17 with your eyes closed, and it's much cheaper too. I am fully satisfied, and definitely my next phone purchase will be Apple; you don't go back to Android after such a device!
Προερχόμενος από android (realme 12 pro +) μπορώ να πω ότι έχω κάνει γιγάντιο άλμα. Είναι ανούσιο να κάνω σύγκριση των δύο smartphone οπότε θα σας αναφέρω την εμπειρία μου με το παρόν iPhone που το έχω από τις 24/1/2026 και σήμερα είναι 26/4/2026. Αρχικά δεν γίνεται να παραλείψω αυτή τη μαγική του κάμερα, το ατού της Apple. Εκτός από την βασική 48MP ευρυγώνιο το φετινό μοντέλο έχει βάλει 48 MP και στον ultra wide φακό αλλά και 18 MP με center stage και μεγαλύτερο αισθητήρα στην μπροστά κάμερα για καθαρές σελφι. Από κάμερα είμαι παραπάνω από καλυμμένος και κανένα Samsung κατά την άποψη μου δεν το φτάνει. Τώρα από ταχύτητα το τηλέφωνο πάει σφαίρα και δεν κολλάει πουθενά όσες εφαρμογές και να έχεις ανοιχτές στο παρασκήνιο και για ελαφρό gaming που το χρησιμοποιώ τα γραφικά είναι ασύλληπτα και άνετα σηκώνουν πολύ βαριά παιχνίδια.
Κάτι που με τσιγκλιζει λίγο είναι η μπαταρία (άλλωστε δεν φημίζονται τα iPhone για την μπαταρία τους). Εγώ που το φορτίζω με όριο 80% και δεν το αφήνω να πάει κάτω από 20%, θέλω πάνω από μια φορά την μέρα φόρτιση. Ενδεχομένως αν το έφτανα έως 100% να άντεχε μια μέρα και κάτι αλλά θέλω να κρατήσω ψηλά την υγεία μπαταρίας (100% σε 99 κύκλους). Για 1000€ περίμενα καλύτερη μπαταρία, αλλά ίσως να φταίει και το iOS 26 το οποίο είναι πιο βαρύ από το 18 οπότε εν μέρει το δικαιολογώ. Η promotion 6.3 120Hz που είχαν όλα τα pro από το 13 και μετά επιτέλους μπήκε και στο βασικό μοντέλο και είναι πολύ ομαλή και φωτεινή. Ηχεία καλά, φόρτιση γρήγορη. Ειδικά αν έχετε ήδη άλλες Apple συσκευές θα βρείτε την χαρά σας λόγω συμβατότητας. Δεν θα έλεγα ότι είναι value for money κινητό, όμως θα έλεγα με μεγάλη άνεση ότι είναι value for money iPhone και σίγουρα πιο γρήγορο, πιο καλό και με καλύτερη διαχείριση ενέργειας από ένα iPhone 16 pro. Αν αμφιταλαντεύεστε ανάμεσα σε 16 pro και 17, σίγουρα το 17 με κλειστά μάτια και είναι και πολύ φτηνότερο. Είμαι πλήρως ικανοποιημένος και σίγουρα η επόμενη αγορά τηλεφώνου θα είναι apple, δεν γυρνάς σε android μετά από τέτοια συσκευαρα!

Αλλά θα ήθελα να είχε 5.000 mAh μπαταρία για μεγαλύτερη αυτονομία, μεγαλύτερη προσωρινή μνήμη 12GB RAM, να υπήρχε η επιλογή να έχει έκδοση με 1TB αποθηκευτικό χώρο και να μην κοστίζει πάνω από 999€.
For the first time, Apple gives the base "Pro" model features. I rate it 5/5 because, compared to previous models, it made a big leap and is worth the extra 100 euros it is available for. 120Hz (Thank you), 256GB starting point without raising the price compared to previous models, new horizontal selfie, same cameras, OLED screen where you can see everything even in sunlight, and many other features that make the experience very good. I will focus a bit on this and say that it is perhaps the only disadvantage of the phone. Naturally, no phone is perfect, but anything else (e.g., AI beta) seems minor to me. In 2026, we cannot be limited to batteries under 4000mAH, since they are lithium and giants like Apple/Samsung do not want to risk more. Chinese companies prove it is possible; there are phones with even 10,000mAH. Other than that, the phone can be rated as 8/10, a big leap and very good all around, dare to say value for money?
Για πρώτη φορά η apple δίνει στο base μοντέλο "Pro" χαρακτηριστικά. Του βάζω 5/5 γιατί συγκρίνοντας το με τα προηγούμενα μοντέλα, έκανε ένα μεγάλο άλμα κι αξίζει τα έξτρα 100 ευρώ που είναι διαθέσιμο. 120Hz (Thank you), 256GB αφετερία χωρίς να ανεβάσει την τιμή συγκριτικά με τα προηγούμενα μοντέλα, νέα οριζόντια selfie, κάμερες ίδιες, οθόνη OLED που μπροστά στον ήλιο βλέπεις τα πάντα, κι πολλά άλλα χαρακτηριστικά που κάνουν την εμπειρία πάρα πολύ καλή. Έτσι όπως το βλέπω, δεν έχεις λόγο να πας σε Pro μοντέλα παρά μόνο εάν σε ενδιαφέρουν τα εξής: Έξτρα κάμερα για zoom (χαρακτηριστικό που εάν δεν είσαι obsessed με την φωτογραφία τοπίων κλπ ίσως κι να μην σου λείψει), το νεο design, vapor chamber (για να μη ζεστένεται στο χέρι σε βαρία χρήση π.χ. βιντεοκλήση θεωρείται βαρία) και η χωριτητικότητα μπαταρίας (μόνο στο pro max, γιατί η διαφορά του pro με το base δεν δικαιολογούν την απόσταση χρημάτων). Σε αυτό θα σταθώ λίγο κι θα πω ότι είναι ίσως το μοναδικό μειωνέκτημα του κινητού, φύσικα κανένα κινητό δεν είναι τέλειο, αλλά οτιδήποτε άλλο (π.χ. ΑΙ beta) μου φαίνεται minor. Δεν γίνεται εν έτει 2026 να περιοριζόμαστε κάτω από 4000mAH μπαταρίες, μιας κι είναι λιθίου κι δεν θέλουν κολοσσοί όπως Apple/Samsung να ρισκάρουν για κάτι παραπάνω. Οι κινέζικες εταιρείες αποδεικνύουν ότι είναι εφικτό, έχουν βγει κινητά και με 10.000mAH. Κατά τα άλλα το κινήτο μπορεί να χαρακτηριστεί ως 8/10, μεγάλο άλμα κι πολύ καλό all around, dare to say value for money?
The best value for money iPhone of this year's series. The transition was from a 13 Pro which served me well for 4 whole years. A big selling point is the 256GB capacity as a base model, excellent battery and very fast. Kudos to Apple for supporting the non-pro models.
Το καλύτερο value for money iPhone της φετινής σειράς. Η μετάβαση έγινε από 13 Pro το οποίο με έβγαλε ασπροπρόσωπο για 4 ολόκληρα χρόνια. Μεγάλο selling point τα 256gb χωρητικότητας σαν base model, εξαιρετική μπαταρία και ταχύτατο. Μπράβο στην Apple που στηρίζει τα non-pro μοντέλα.
I received it today. Being a first-time owner of an Apple device, I am amazed by the quality, it's a real gem. Excellent screen, I obviously haven't had the chance to take many photos and videos yet, but the ones I did take left me speechless. Crystal clear video and spotless photos. The phone literally "flies", there are no lags at all. The screen size is also very convenient. Buy it without hesitation if you have the money.
Το παρέλαβα σήμερα. Όντας πρώτη φορά κάτοχος apple συσκευής, έχω πάθει πλάκα από την ποιότητα, πραγματικό κόσμημα. Εξαιρετική οθόνη, φωτογραφίες και βίντεο δεν πρόλαβα προφανώς να τραβήξω πολλά ακόμα, αλλά όσα έβγαλα με άφησαν με το στόμα ανοιχτό. Βίντεο κρύσταλλο και φωτογραφίες πεντακάθαρες. Το κινητό “πετάει“ κυριολεκτικά, δεν νιώθει από κολλήματα. Το μέγεθος της οθόνης επίσης βολεύει πολύ. Πάρτε το άφοβα εάν διαθέτετε τα χρήματα.
A sworn Samsung owner, I was given this as a gift because due to work I was complaining that I needed something fast, that wouldn't lag when connected to a car screen or when multitasking. They weren't wrong! It hasn't lagged for a second, the photos are perfect (which was also a concern of mine). I feel like it freezes when I let it ring for more than a few seconds, like it repeats the last note or something, but that's the only issue.
Also, it accepts the regular small SIM, it doesn't need an E-SIM as I saw mentioned!
ορκισμένη κατοχος Samsung, μου το εκαναν δωρο γιατι λογω δουλειας παραπονιόμουν πως χρειαζομαι κατι γρηγορο ,που να μην κολλαει οταν συνδεεται με οθονη αυτοκινητου ή οταν κανω Multitasking. δεν ειχαν αδικο! δεν εχει κολλησει λεπτο , οι φωτογραφιες αψογες (που το ειχα κι αυτο μια εγνοια). νιωθω οτι τρωει σκαλωμα οταν το αφηνω να χτυπα πανω απο καποια δευτερολεπτα, σαν να επαναλαμβανει την τελευταια νοτα ενα πραγμα,αλλα μονο αυτο.
επισης , δεχεται κανονικα την μικρουλα sim, δεν χρειαζεται E - sim οπως ειδα να αναφερεται!
First time in the Apple ecosystem coming from a Samsung Galaxy S25 FE. At first, I was completely lost compared to the Android ecosystem. I had a lot of difficulty customizing the device. The battery is good but very small compared to the competition. The camera is very good, with 2 lenses of 48MP and night photography at DSLR level.
The negatives for me are:
- You can't customize the menu the way you want like you can on Android.
- There is no app drawer (it just suits me personally) but that's subjective.
- It doesn't allow you to make calls on a 2G network but only asks for 4G or 5G. And this is where the laughs begin with Greece's non-existent networks, especially regarding 5G.
After 2 months of use, I finally sold it because I couldn't get used to the following:
You can't adjust it to your liking like an Android phone.
You can't transfer photos to an Android device, i.e. to a tablet.
Apps that require a subscription for access.
Small memory of 256GB at a particularly steep price.
Πρώτη φορά στο οικοσύστημα της apple προερχόμενος από Samsung galaxy s25 fe. Για αρχή εντελώς χαμένος σε σχέση με το οικοσύστημα του android. Είχα μεγάλη δυσκολία στην παραμετροποίηση της συσκευής. Μπαταρία καλη αλλα πολυ μικρη σε σχεση με τον ανταγωνισμο. Φωτογραφία πολυ καλη, με 2 φακούς των 48mp και νυχτερινή Φωτογραφία επιπέδου DSLR.
Στα αρνητικά για εμένα είναι:
- Δεν μπορείς να παραμετροποίησης το μενού έτσι όπως το θέλεις όπως γίνεται στα android.
- Δεν έχει συρτάρι εφαρμογών ( απλά με βολεύει προσωπικά) αλλά ειναι υποκειμενικό.
- Δεν σου δίνει την δυνατότητα για πραγματοποίηση κλήσεων σε δίκτυο 2G αλλά ζητάει μόνο δίκτυο 4G ή 5G. Και εδώ αρχίζουν τα γέλια με τα ανύπαρκτα δίκτυα της Ελλάδας, ειδικά ως προς το 5G.
Μετά από 2 μήνες χρήσης τελικά το πούλησα γιατι δεν κατάφερα να συνηθίσω τα εξής:
Δεν μπορείς να το φέρεις στα μέτρα σου όπως ένα κινητό android.
Δεν υπάρχει η δυνατότητα να μεταφέρεις φωτογραφίες σε συσκευή android δλδ σε ταμπλέτα.
Εφαρμογές που πρέπει να πληρώνεις συνδρομή για πρόσβαση.
Μικρή μνήμη 256GB σε ιδιαίτερα τσουχτερή τιμή.
I think it has everything a simple and even a slightly more demanding user would need from an Apple device: processor, bright screen, large enough, and two clearly improved cameras. The video, as always, is the best in its category. And of course, the selfie camera in all models is upgraded and with different functions. BUT: Coming from a previous device of the company, the fact that you can shoot raw files is the only thing that makes a difference for the better, but not enough to justify paying, for example, an extra 300 just for this. That's all!
Νομίζω πως έχει όλα όσα χρειάζεται ένας απλός και ίσως και λίγο πιο απαιτητικός χρήστης από συσκευή της Apple επεξεργαστής Φωτεινή οθόνη μεγάλη τόσο όσο και δύο σαφώς βελτιωμένες κάμερες το βίντεο όπως πάντα είναι το καλύτερο στην κατηγορία Και φυσικά η σελφι σε όλα τα μοντέλα είναι αναβαθμισμένη και με διαφορετικές λειτουργίες ΑΛΛΑ: Προερχόμενος από κάποια προηγούμενη συσκευή της εταιρείας προ το γεγονός ότι τραβάς raw αρχεία είναι το μόνο που κάνει τη διαφορά προς το καλύτερο αλλά όχι να δώσεις τα συν 300 πχ παραπάνω για προ μόνο για αυτό αυτά!
What can I say about this phone. I’ve had it for a month (coming from the iPhone 11). I am extremely satisfied, speed, fantastic camera (at night I took a picture of the Eiffel tower, the image was so clear!), the videos are also amazing! I charge it once a day. Very lightweight phone compared to the 11 I had. I haven’t regretted getting it for a moment!
Τι να πω γι’αυτό το κινητό. Το έχω ένα μήνα (προερχόμενη από το iPhone 11). Είμαι πάρα πολύ ευχαριστημένη, ταχύτητα, κάμερα φανταστική (τη νύχτα έβγαλα τον πύργο του Eiffel, ήταν τόσο καθαρή η εικόνα!), τα videos επίσης φοβερά! Το φορτίζω μια φορά τη μέρα. Πολύ ελαφρύ κινητό σε σχέση με το 11 που είχα. Δεν το μετάνιωσα ούτε στιγμή που το πήρα!
I had the iPhone 13 since it was released and I was absolutely satisfied, but it started not being enough for me to make my videos and I realized it was time, so I got the iPhone 17. I think it's a really nice upgrade. I've had it for 5 days now and what can I say? It's amazing, takes AWESOME PHOTOS, GREAT VIDEOS. The speed of the phone? The screen? It's simply an AMAZING PHONE. Ok, as always, we try to make the battery last as long as possible but iPhones will always lose a bit there... if I had the 16 I don't think I would notice a difference. But from the 13, yes, I notice the difference... if someone is going to buy a phone for 300-400€, they should try to save a bit more and get the 17..
Είχα το iPhone 13 από τότε που είχε βγει και ήμουν απόλυτα ικανοποιημένος, αλλά άρχισε να μην μου αρκεί ώστε να κάνω τα βίντεό μου και κατάλαβα πως έφτασε όμως η ώρα και πήρα το iPhone 17. Είναι μια πολύ ωραία αναβάθμιση πιστεύω. Το έχω πλέον 5 μέρες και τι να πω; Ότι πετάει, βγάζει ΦΩΤΟΓΡΑΦΙΑΡΕΣ, ΒΙΝΤΕΑΡΑ. Η ταχύτητα του κινητού; Η οθόνη; Είναι απλά ΚΙΝΗΤΑΡΑ. Οκ όπως πάντα προσπαθούμε να κάνουμε την μπαταρία να κρατήσει όσο περισσότερο γίνεται αλλά πάντα εκεί τα iPhone θα χάνουν λίγο… αν είχα το 16 δεν νόμιζα θα καταλάβαινα διαφορά. Αλλά από το 13 ναι, καταλαβαίνω την διαφορά… αν είναι κάποιος να πάρει ένα κινητό 300-400€ να προσπαθήσει να μαζέψει λίγο παραπάνω και να πάρει το 17…
Years only on Android. One day I said I would get an iPhone to see what is different. The phone is flawless in every aspect, there is nothing negative to point out. And of course now I understand what makes iPhones different from Androids. From now on, only iOS.
Χρόνια μόνο σε Android . Μια μέρα είπα θα πάρω iPhone για να δω τι διαφορετικό έχουν . Το κινητό είναι άψογο σε όλα του , δεν έχει κάτι αρνητικό να τονίσω . Και εννοείται τώρα καταλαβαίνω τι διαφορετικό έχουν τα IPhone από τα Android. Πλέον μόνο IOS.
Everything is fine! Functional as I expected. However, it requires an eSIM so it would be good to have arranged for that before you receive it, because the company made it difficult for me.
Μια χαρά όλα! Λειτουργικό όπως περίμενα. Χρειάζεται όμως eSIM οπότε καλό θα ήταν πριν το παραλάβετε να έχετε προχωρήσει με αυτό γιατί εμένα η εταιρεία με δυσκόλεψε.
I think it is heavier than other similar models.. the camera goes up to x10 and that's it, the battery is nothing special… otherwise, it is beautiful!!!!
Θεωρώ ότι είναι πιο βαρύ από τα άλλα αντίστοιχα μοντέλα .. η κάμερα πάει έως χ10 και τέλος η μπαταρία δεν είναι κάτι φοβερό … κατά τα άλλα είναι πανέμορφο !!!!
I come from an iPhone 13 and the difference really is huge, especially with the 120 Hz, amazing camera, lightning-fast phone. You do pay quite a bit, that's true, but it's worth it. As for the battery, time will tell, and specifically the black color is worth it

Ideal size, quite lightweight, very good battery especially when using WiFi, finally a 120hz screen. Clear sound, new selfie camera is very good.

I've had the phone in my hands for 3 weeks. From iPhone 13 to iPhone 17. The first thing you notice is the excellent quality and brightness of the screen with 120hz pro motion and 3000 nits. The photos and videos are also excellent, obviously the pro models will provide better quality photos, however for the average everyday user I think the iPhone 17 is almost perfect. The speed of the phone is, as expected, very good, all apps open instantly without any problem. The battery is also quite good, lasting 1 day (you start in the morning with 100% and finish at night around 12-1 with 20-30%), with fairly heavy use. The price of the phone is reasonable, considering the 256gb of storage. I also find the very thin bezels of the screen quite nice aesthetically. I recommend the phone to anyone who has an iPhone 14 or older, I think iPhone 16 and 15 users can wait another 1-2 years before upgrading. Of this year's models, I think it's ideal for someone who wants a GOOD phone without the extra pro features of the pro models, while last year the phone I personally would have chosen would have been the 16 pro due to the lack of a 120hz screen on the iPhone 16.

Από iPhone 13 στο iPhone 17. Το πρώτο που παρατηρεί κανείς είναι η εξαιρετικής ποιότητας και φωτεινότητας οθόνη με τα 120hz pro motion και τα 3000 nits. Οι φωτογραφίες και τα βίντεο επίσης εξαιρετικά, προφανώς τα pro μοντέλα θα παρέχουν καλύτερης ποιότητας φωτογραφίες, παρολαυτα για τον απλό καθημερινό χρήστη θεωρώ το iPhone 17 είναι σχεδόν τέλειο. Η ταχύτητα του κινητού αναμενόμενα είναι πάρα πολύ καλή, όλες οι εφαρμογές ανήκουν αστραπιαία χωρίς κανένα πρόβλημα. Η μπαταρία είναι επίσης αρκετά καλή, με διάρκεια 1 μέρα (ξεκινάς το πρωί με 100% και το βράδυ τελειώνεις κατά τις 12-1 με 20-30%), με αρκετά έντονη χρήση. Η τιμή του τηλεφώνου είναι λογική, αν λάβουμε υπόψη μας και τα 256gb αποθηκευτικού χώρου. Αρκετά ωραίο από αισθητικης άποψης βρίσκω τα πολύ λεπτά bezels τις οθονης. Το κινητό το προτείνω σε οποιοδήποτε έχει iPhone 14 και πισω, θεωρώ πως οι χρήστες iPhone 16 και 15 μπορούν να περιμένουν 1-2 χρόνια ακόμη για να κάνουν την αναβάθμιση. Απο τα φετινά μοντέλα είναι νομίζω το ιδανικό για ένα άτομο που θέλει ένα ΚΑΛΟ κινητό χωρίς τα επιπλεον pro χαρακτηριστικά των pro μοντέλων, ενώ πέρυσι το κινητό το οποίο προσωπικά θα επέλεγα θα ήταν το 16 pro λόγω της έλλειψης 120hz οθόνης στο iPhone 16.
This year the regular iPhone is a Pro without a telephoto lens. Excellent screen and battery life while the A19 is more than sufficient as the phone is blazing fast. If you don't care so much about the enhanced photo and video capabilities of the Pro models, get the regular one and use the money you save to go on a trip.
Φέτος το απλό iPhone είναι ένα Pro χωρίς τηλεφακό. Εξαιρετική οθόνη και διάρκεια μπαταρίας ενώ ο Α19 είναι κάτι παραπάνω από επαρκής αφού το κινητό πάει σφαίρα. Αν δεν σας νοιάζουν τόσο οι αυξημένες δυνατότητες των Pro στον τομέα της φωτογραφίας και των videos πάρτε το απλό και με τα ρέστα κάντε ένα ταξίδι.
Very good! Coming from an iPhone 16 Pro Max, I see better battery, screen, speakers, and cameras. Really very good. I didn't expect it for a base model. Of course, it's extremely expensive for the 512GB capacity I got.

I just upgraded from the iPhone XR to the iPhone 17 and the difference is huge. The 6.3-inch OLED display with ProMotion 120Hz is incredibly brighter and smoother compared to the XR, and scrolling looks completely different. The 48MP cameras deliver clear photos day and night, something I couldn't get with the XR. The new A19 processor makes everything run instantly, without delays, and the battery lasts much longer.
Μόλις έκανα το upgrade από το iPhone XR στο iPhone 17 και η διαφορά είναι τεράστια. Η οθόνη OLED 6,3 ιντσών με ProMotion 120Hz είναι απίστευτα πιο φωτεινή και ομαλή σε σχέση με το XR, και το scrolling φαίνεται εντελώς διαφορετικό. Οι κάμερες με 48MP δίνουν καθαρές φωτογραφίες μέρα και νύχτα, κάτι που στο XR δεν μπορούσα να έχω. First time switching to iPhone, coming from a Samsung S23 base. I’ll just say that this phone is a beast. It supports a 1Hz to 120Hz variable screen refresh rate, as well as quick charge that charges very fast with a 25W charger. The battery never runs out, it easily gives 10 hours SOT if you drain it completely. Finally, let’s not forget that it now starts with 256GB of storage. This phone has NO competition, buy it without fear and you’ll remember me!

Υποστηρίζει 1HZ μέχρι 120Hz μεταβλητό ρυθμό ανανέωσης οθόνης, καθώς και quick charge που με έναν φορτιστή 25W φορτίζει ταχύτατα. Η μπαταρία δεν τελειώνει ποτέ, βγάζει άνετα 10 ώρες SOT, άμα την εξαντλήσεις όλη. Τέλος μην ξεχνάμε ότι πλέον ξεκινάει με 256 αποθηκευτικό χώρο. Το κινητό αυτό ΔΕΝ έχει ανταγωνισμό, αγοράστε το άφοβα και θα με θυμηθείτε!

I have been using it since October 2025. Coming from an iPhone 12mini. It is definitely an upgrade for me. Excellent (as always) build quality, very fast, trouble-free, reliable. The screen has excellent clarity, the speakers have a significant improvement in sound quality, the cameras are top-notch as always, both in photos and videos. The only thing that bothers me, but it's a matter of habit, is the change in the side button which traditionally had two positions for sound/silent. Now it does give you the ability to customize it as you want, but you have to get used to it because it's a button you press inwards. Not up-down. Two very positive changes are the type-C charging port (finally) and the improved battery life. I no longer need a charger at work. I get through my day and return home at night with 20% left. The price now is a problem. €940 (for the basic version) is way too much money. It's only worth it if you get it and won't bother with buying a new phone for a decade. However, given all its positives, I can't give it less than 5 stars. It's a top-tier phone.
Το χρησιμοποιώ από τον Οκτώβριο του 2025. Ερχόμενος από iPhone 12mini. Πρόκειται σαφέστατα για αναβάθμιση για εμένα. Εξαιρετική (όπως πάντα) ποιότητα κατασκευής, ταχύτατο, απροβλημάτιστο, αξιόπιστο. Η οθόνη έχει εξαιρετική ευκρίνεια, τα ηχεία φέρουν σημαντική βελτίωση στην ποιότητα ήχου, οι κάμερες κορυφαίες όπως πάντα, και σε φωτογραφίες και σε βίντεο. Το μόνο που με ενοχλεί αλλα είναι θέμα συνήθειας, είναι η αλλαγή στο πλαϊνό κουμπί που παραδοσιακά είχε δύο θέσεις για ήχο / σίγαση. Τώρα σου δίνει μεν τη δυνατότητα να το παραμετροποιήσεις όπως θες, αλλά πρέπει να το συνηθίσεις γιατί είναι κουμπί προς τα μέσα. Όχι πάνω-κάτω. Δύο πολύ θετικές αλλαγές είναι η type-C θύρα φόρτισης (επιτέλους) και η βελτιωμένη διάρκεια ζωής μπαταρίας. Πλέον δεν χρειάζομαι φορτιστή στη δουλειά. Βγάζω τη μέρα μου και επιστρέφω το βράδυ στο σπίτι με 20% ρέστα. Η τιμή τώρα είναι ένα πρόβλημα. 940€ (για την απλή έκδοση) είναι υπερβολικά πάρα πολλά χρήματα. Αξίζει μόνο αν το πάρεις και δεν θα ασχοληθείς ξανά με αγορά κινητού για μια δεκαετία. Ωστόσο δεδομένων όλων των θετικών που έχει, δεν μπορώ να βάλω λιγότερα από 5 αστέρια. Είναι κορυφαίο κινητό.
Coming from Android (realme 12 pro +), I can say that I have made a giant leap. It is pointless to compare the two smartphones, so I will share my experience with this iPhone, which I have had since 24/1/2026 and today is 26/4/2026. First of all, I can't skip mentioning its magical camera, Apple's ace. Apart from the main 48MP wide lens, this year's model also has 48MP on the ultra wide lens and 18MP with center stage and a larger sensor on the front camera for clear selfies. As far as the camera is concerned, I am more than covered, and in my opinion, no Samsung can match it. Now, in terms of speed, the phone is lightning fast and doesn't lag at all, no matter how many apps you have open in the background, and for light gaming, which is what I use it for, the graphics are incredible and can easily handle very heavy games.
Something that bothers me a little is the battery (after all, iPhones are not famous for their batteries). I charge it with an 80% limit and don't let it drop below 20%, and I need to charge it more than once a day. Maybe if I charged it to 100%, it would last a day or so, but I want to keep the battery health high (100% at 99 cycles). For €1000, I expected a better battery, but maybe iOS 26 is to blame, which is heavier than 18, so I partly justify it. The promotion 6.3 120Hz that all the pros had since the 13 finally made it to the basic model, and it is very smooth and bright. Good speakers, fast charging. Especially if you already have other Apple devices, you will be very happy due to compatibility. I wouldn't say it's a value for money phone, but I would easily say it's a value for money iPhone and definitely faster, better, and with better energy management than an iPhone 16 pro. If you are hesitating between the 16 pro and the 17, definitely go for the 17 with your eyes closed, and it's much cheaper too. I am fully satisfied, and definitely my next phone purchase will be Apple; you don't go back to Android after such a device!
Προερχόμενος από android (realme 12 pro +) μπορώ να πω ότι έχω κάνει γιγάντιο άλμα. Είναι ανούσιο να κάνω σύγκριση των δύο smartphone οπότε θα σας αναφέρω την εμπειρία μου με το παρόν iPhone που το έχω από τις 24/1/2026 και σήμερα είναι 26/4/2026. Αρχικά δεν γίνεται να παραλείψω αυτή τη μαγική του κάμερα, το ατού της Apple. Εκτός από την βασική 48MP ευρυγώνιο το φετινό μοντέλο έχει βάλει 48 MP και στον ultra wide φακό αλλά και 18 MP με center stage και μεγαλύτερο αισθητήρα στην μπροστά κάμερα για καθαρές σελφι. Από κάμερα είμαι παραπάνω από καλυμμένος και κανένα Samsung κατά την άποψη μου δεν το φτάνει. Τώρα από ταχύτητα το τηλέφωνο πάει σφαίρα και δεν κολλάει πουθενά όσες εφαρμογές και να έχεις ανοιχτές στο παρασκήνιο και για ελαφρό gaming που το χρησιμοποιώ τα γραφικά είναι ασύλληπτα και άνετα σηκώνουν πολύ βαριά παιχνίδια.
Κάτι που με τσιγκλιζει λίγο είναι η μπαταρία (άλλωστε δεν φημίζονται τα iPhone για την μπαταρία τους). Εγώ που το φορτίζω με όριο 80% και δεν το αφήνω να πάει κάτω από 20%, θέλω πάνω από μια φορά την μέρα φόρτιση. Ενδεχομένως αν το έφτανα έως 100% να άντεχε μια μέρα και κάτι αλλά θέλω να κρατήσω ψηλά την υγεία μπαταρίας (100% σε 99 κύκλους). Για 1000€ περίμενα καλύτερη μπαταρία, αλλά ίσως να φταίει και το iOS 26 το οποίο είναι πιο βαρύ από το 18 οπότε εν μέρει το δικαιολογώ. Η promotion 6.3 120Hz που είχαν όλα τα pro από το 13 και μετά επιτέλους μπήκε και στο βασικό μοντέλο και είναι πολύ ομαλή και φωτεινή. Ηχεία καλά, φόρτιση γρήγορη. Ειδικά αν έχετε ήδη άλλες Apple συσκευές θα βρείτε την χαρά σας λόγω συμβατότητας. Δεν θα έλεγα ότι είναι value for money κινητό, όμως θα έλεγα με μεγάλη άνεση ότι είναι value for money iPhone και σίγουρα πιο γρήγορο, πιο καλό και με καλύτερη διαχείριση ενέργειας από ένα iPhone 16 pro. Αν αμφιταλαντεύεστε ανάμεσα σε 16 pro και 17, σίγουρα το 17 με κλειστά μάτια και είναι και πολύ φτηνότερο. Είμαι πλήρως ικανοποιημένος και σίγουρα η επόμενη αγορά τηλεφώνου θα είναι apple, δεν γυρνάς σε android μετά από τέτοια συσκευαρα!

Αλλά θα ήθελα να είχε 5.000 mAh μπαταρία για μεγαλύτερη αυτονομία, μεγαλύτερη προσωρινή μνήμη 12GB RAM, να υπήρχε η επιλογή να έχει έκδοση με 1TB αποθηκευτικό χώρο και να μην κοστίζει πάνω από 999€.
For the first time, Apple gives the base "Pro" model features. I rate it 5/5 because, compared to previous models, it made a big leap and is worth the extra 100 euros it is available for. 120Hz (Thank you), 256GB starting point without raising the price compared to previous models, new horizontal selfie, same cameras, OLED screen where you can see everything even in sunlight, and many other features that make the experience very good. As I see it, there is no reason to go for Pro models unless you are interested in the following: Extra camera for zoom (a feature that, unless you are obsessed with landscape photography etc., you might not even miss), the new design, vapor chamber (so it doesn’t get hot in your hand during heavy use, e.g., video call is considered heavy), and battery capacity (only in the pro max, because the difference between the pro and the base does not justify the price gap). I will focus a bit on this and say that it is perhaps the only disadvantage of the phone. Naturally, no phone is perfect, but anything else (e.g., AI beta) seems minor to me. In 2026, we cannot be limited to batteries under 4000mAH, since they are lithium and giants like Apple/Samsung do not want to risk more. Chinese companies prove it is possible; there are phones with even 10,000mAH. Other than that, the phone can be rated as 8/10, a big leap and very good all around, dare to say value for money?
Για πρώτη φορά η apple δίνει στο base μοντέλο "Pro" χαρακτηριστικά. Του βάζω 5/5 γιατί συγκρίνοντας το με τα προηγούμενα μοντέλα, έκανε ένα μεγάλο άλμα κι αξίζει τα έξτρα 100 ευρώ που είναι διαθέσιμο. 120Hz (Thank you), 256GB αφετερία χωρίς να ανεβάσει την τιμή συγκριτικά με τα προηγούμενα μοντέλα, νέα οριζόντια selfie, κάμερες ίδιες, οθόνη OLED που μπροστά στον ήλιο βλέπεις τα πάντα, κι πολλά άλλα χαρακτηριστικά που κάνουν την εμπειρία πάρα πολύ καλή. Έτσι όπως το βλέπω, δεν έχεις λόγο να πας σε Pro μοντέλα παρά μόνο εάν σε ενδιαφέρουν τα εξής: Έξτρα κάμερα για zoom (χαρακτηριστικό που εάν δεν είσαι obsessed με την φωτογραφία τοπίων κλπ ίσως κι να μην σου λείψει), το νεο design, vapor chamber (για να μη ζεστένεται στο χέρι σε βαρία χρήση π.χ. βιντεοκλήση θεωρείται βαρία) και η χωριτητικότητα μπαταρίας (μόνο στο pro max, γιατί η διαφορά του pro με το base δεν δικαιολογούν την απόσταση χρημάτων). Σε αυτό θα σταθώ λίγο κι θα πω ότι είναι ίσως το μοναδικό μειωνέκτημα του κινητού, φύσικα κανένα κινητό δεν είναι τέλειο, αλλά οτιδήποτε άλλο (π.χ. ΑΙ beta) μου φαίνεται minor. Δεν γίνεται εν έτει 2026 να περιοριζόμαστε κάτω από 4000mAH μπαταρίες, μιας κι είναι λιθίου κι δεν θέλουν κολοσσοί όπως Apple/Samsung να ρισκάρουν για κάτι παραπάνω. Οι κινέζικες εταιρείες αποδεικνύουν ότι είναι εφικτό, έχουν βγει κινητά και με 10.000mAH. Κατά τα άλλα το κινήτο μπορεί να χαρακτηριστεί ως 8/10, μεγάλο άλμα κι πολύ καλό all around, dare to say value for money?
