The Primasem bulb produces daffodils with large, double, funnel-shaped flowers in white and yellow. The plant reaches a maximum height of 35 cm and blooms from January to May, with a flowering period of 3–4 weeks.
Plant in autumn at a depth of about one and a half times the bulb’s size, in light, fertile, well-drained, neutral or acidic soil. It thrives in sunny or partially shaded locations, even in lawns, and tolerates very low temperatures. Remove spent flowers, but leave the leaves in place for at least 6 weeks after flowering. It can be grown in flower beds, rock gardens, and pots, and the flowers are also suitable for cutting.
