This review is about a variation of the product

I had the G1 and moved to the G5 at the beginning of 2026.
The picture quality of the worst OLED panel is better than the best LED or QLED. The G-class panels are not entry-level, they are premium, so they are not comparable.
The brightness is impressive. In the middle of the day, with the sun high up, you don't see reflections from the window.
The sound is one click below what I would like, but a soundbar fixes it.
EON's sports don't run in 4K and that was the reason I replaced it with Cosmote TV. Real 4K, and you can even see the pores of the skin.
The G1, for the 5 years I've had it, has not had the slightest problem, so I am sure that the G5 will also be trouble-free. Don't listen to stories about burn-in. They are stories from people who have a friend.
The menu bothers me too. I prefer the old one, but LG doesn't give you the option to choose, so let's move on.
I haven't noticed any lag, bugs, or software problems. All the apps work flawlessly, and the TV's cooperation with the phone is perfect.
If it means anything about the network, I use Ethernet with a cat6 cable on a TP-Link xx532v router at 1Gbps.
The TV is of course on the wall like a frame. The application on the wall is exact. A real jewel.
Anyone who can afford such a serious amount for a TV purchase will not regret it.

This review is about the size: 55 "

The picture quality is truly impressive, with very good brightness and excellent colors, but unfortunately the software seriously ruins the overall experience. LG WebOS often freezes, closes apps for no reason, and constantly asks for verifications. Especially with the EON TV and Cosmote TV apps, disconnections are frequent and in some cases even lead to a temporary account lockout for a long period.
The menu is slow, updates take excessively long, and overall the software feels rushed and poorly designed for a TV of this category. Most "smart" features either do not work properly or are outdated and essentially useless. Indicatively, internet browsing is disappointing, with constant pop-ups and ads, even with the ad blocker enabled.
The sound is plain and unremarkable, so using a soundbar is almost necessary. Overall, this is a TV with excellent picture quality, but with software that does not match the level of the device. A serious and substantial upgrade from LG is now necessary.
