It connected with an Apple phone but not with Android, even though this particular model is supposed to be compatible with both.

For what it does, it is expensive.
It does not have a loud sound compared to the competition.
The Bluetooth range is not great compared to the competition.
It does not have a separation alarm, meaning it does not notify you if you walk away from it out of range and forget it, leave it behind.
It does not have its own app like the competition.
It's a Chinese product on which they've put their logo and sell it at a premium.
On Chinese sites, the same tag is sold at one third of the price.

To begin with, it seems to do its job. I connected it to an Android device after a while since it does NOT contain sufficient instructions on how to set it up, only which app you need to download. There is also no video from the army of influencers/youtubers who have promoted the product. The product is referred to as dual but nowhere does it state if it works simultaneously with both operating systems, nor if it uses both operating systems to provide location, nor if you can view it simultaneously from an Android and an iOS device.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1 click: the device turns on and makes a sound
2 clicks: the device enters pairing mode for manual pairing and makes a sound
5 clicks (the 5th held down): the device resets

It doesn't work as the instructions say. It says to pull the white insulation tape, but there is no tape anywhere. I managed to get my phone to see it, but as soon as it connected (as nutale and not as hypeloq since they didn't even bother to change the chip's name), it disappeared immediately and I couldn't reconnect it. Besides that, the instructions are completely wrong. It says it turns off with two clicks and holding the second one. Nothing. With two clicks, it just makes a useless sound. With five clicks, it says (only on the side with instructions for iPhone, of course) that if you hold the fifth click, it restarts. It doesn't. With five clicks, it just turns off. Disgraceful. Money wasted. I am waiting to see if it is defective, although it seems the company is just looking for a quick buck since they don't even have real photos of many of their products on their website, nor user manuals.
