The amaryllis bulb reaches a maximum height of 50cm. Sold per piece.
The amaryllis is famous for its impressive and radiant flowers that grow on long stems, offering a unique view. Its large bulbs are available in florists, ready for planting in containers.
For planting bulbs, choose a container with drainage, with a diameter 3-5 centimeters larger than the bulb. Use suitable soil consisting of equal parts fertile clay soil, peat, and perlite or sand. Plant the bulb so that one third of it is above the soil, water well, and place the pot in a warm and sunny spot.
For scheduling special blooming dates, decide when you want the amaryllises to bloom. The bulbs should remain in their container from 6 to 12 weeks before the desired date.
