Amaryllis Aphrodite
Maximum height: 50 cm.
The amaryllis bulb is sold per piece.
The amaryllis is known for its impressive and bright flowers, which open on long stems and attract attention. Large bulbs may be available at florists, ready planted in containers with relevant instructions.
If you purchase bulbs, choose a pot with drainage holes and a diameter 3-5 cm larger than the size of the bulb. Use suitable soil for planting, consisting of equal parts clay garden soil, peat, and perlite or sand. Plant the bulb so that one-third protrudes from the soil. After planting, water and place the pot in a warm, sunny location.
For specific flowering dates, the bulbs should remain in their container for 6 to 12 weeks before the desired date.
